South Monmouthshire motorcycle leafy lane research trail ride

After having researched the status of some 'green lanes' (Newport county council terminology even though no such legal term exists) and unclassified county roads with the local councils this is a legal trail ride around South Monmouthshire's green lanes in the Autumn of 2022. Several lanes were dead ends as expected, some were obstructed by years of overgrowth and some had illegal home made signage claiming 'private' or 'no right of way'. The council will be notified of the latter. All in all a nice days ride around the countryside.

So many lanes unused. In East Sussex we only have a few lanes.

First glance looks like you’ve more than West Sussex. But then you have so many with TROs.

@@kelvinvarney1906 West Sussex has mainly UCRs. The tros are mostly 4wd.
