A nice drive through Southern France on French Autoroute A8 (Francais Autoroute 8). Very stunning. A lot of toll booths. Well, you have to pay to drive on the French Autoroutes. With the paying of tolls, strict autoroute laws and expensive fuel for your car, it all doesn't take away from the amazing tunnels and the nice scenery along this route. Seeing someone driving into Italy, (French: Italie or Italian: Italia), my dad told me you have to show papers to cross into another country in Europe. Driving through different countries in Europe is like driving different states in the USA and different provinces in Canada. I've been to five countries in northern Europe and two in North America. In North America I've been to Mexico and Canada, and in Europe I've been to the United Kingdom, Belgium, Norway, Deutschland (Germany) and France (Le Havre in the Seine-Maritime Department of the Normandy Region). France is a beautiful country and one day I might live there. Right now I am taking a look at the country on France 24 and watching videos on TH-cam. There is some things I will like and other things I will not like about France but I just got to get use to everything in that country. ''VIVE LA FRANCE''
Upon crossing the border, you entered the Autostrada dei Fiori, aka A10.it. I hope you have footage of more of the A10, in particular between Ventimiglia and the birthplace of my father, Imperia. Southwest Liguria is a very special place for me.
I haven't driven beyond Ventimiglia yet. But when I do, I take my camera along :) I filmed this on a little detour as I was actually driving towards the French Alps and not Italy.
Absolutely stunning! I didn't notice before watching your video that the south carriageway around Nice is only 2 lane, unlike the north carriageway. Another think, if I'm not wrong, at 4:27 is planned to build a new tunnel only dedicated to the south carriageway, due to landslide problems.
Ah, I didn't know that. As you can see in the video there were some small queues at the two toll plazas, I wonder how it is during peak season. I didn't see such queues anywhere else on my 3,000 km trip through France in September 2014.

+European Roads I have driven from Switzerland to Nice once and I have been beyond that point. The Roads are very curvy. I wish I had a camera then.

During Summer there's always a big traffic to go to the French Riviera and Italy
