I used to own a dwarf rabbit named Wicket - I loved that lil' guy! And now my channel mascot is a rabbit - although my channel is about travel and not actual rabbits. But they are a theme in my life! This one is about 5 times the size of Wicket! ;)

Reminds me of that show of Malcolm in the Middle when Dewy over feeds his rabbit to the point where it's extremely obese and gets stuck inside it's cage and he decides to put the rabbit for a competition where he ends up loosing 😂

Dr pol is the best
That is not how you pick up a rabbit! I was terrified that a trained vet would do that. When you pick a rabbit up like this you can do a lot of damage. Predators pick up rabbits by the scruff when they're about to eat them. Doing this to your rabbit is a terrifying and painful experience to them. A proper way to pick up a rabbit is to place one hand genty but firmly under the rabbits torso and the other hand under their backside supporting their hindquarters. :)

I have 2 bunnies of my own and i always take them to an exotic vet and never in my years of taking them there, have they ever held them by the scruff. Pains me to see that a trained vet will do that 😔

the doge Dr.Pol has YEARS of experience handling animals and he’s holding the rabbit by the scruff. In case you didn’t know that the scruff is basically loose skin on the back and it doesn’t hurt the animal in any way ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I like to know what ear mites med Dr used? I have 4 cats that have ear mites and my vets I feel don't know what they are doing. Tried many different things to get rid of them things help but don't kill the eat mites.

I had a pet rabbit when I was young my parent's asked me to feed it then it went missing for 3 days. My mom found it in the crisper in the fridge. I guess instead of bringing the food to the rabbit I brought the rabbit to the food and forgot about it. He was still alive and healthy but I find it funny, now I don't actually remember doing it but I do remember her finding it because she opened the crisper to make a salad and there was my bunny eating all the salad makings and it scared mom a bit before she realized what it was.🤦♂️🤷♂️😁🤣

That was a grossly inappropriate way to pick up a rabbit! Their skin is very delicate and you should never put it under such tension, especially for a bunny with that much weight!!!

It's clear Dr Pols least favorite animal to treat is rabbits. He clearly diesn't like them or know enough of the fundamentals of their care like how to handle them pick them up..no scruffing it can kill them., even their life span. Every rabbut i've had has lived 10-13 years.
