I know there is more comments like this, but it's shocking that the semi final of one of the world's top level rugby club tournaments, on a Friday night and it barely sells any seats. At the northern hemisphere equivalent (Champions Cup) It would be a sell out with a sea of team flags and such an atmosphere.
I know its further and more expensive for Aussies to travel there but it's sad that the Auckland general public have zero interest in Super Rugby. I've always suspect most Kiwi's are only interested in All Black rugby and this confirms it.

Try a population in Europe combined of 175 million or more (not including South Africa) vs a population of aus and NZ of 30 million
Also take a moment to realise the modern rugby fan watches from home on their 60 inch 4K TV. Saying something ridiculous like the public has “zero interest”!?!? The TV viewers are where the majority of the fan base is. I know people find that hard to accept but stadium tickets don’t make the sport any money. Sport subscriptions and TV views keep the sport funded and that’s the way it is

I’m also Irish and watching from Ireland - and amazed at the poor attendances. NZ rugby needs to get creative because it looks like the game is dying on its feet from a spectator interest perspective, even if it’s still producing great players. And smaller stadiums aren’t the answer - Leinster packed out the 80,500 capacity Croke Park (Gaelic football home) in Dublin for this year’s European Cup semi … and rugby here is about 3rd or 4th sport in spectator popularity. Love NZ rugby, it’s been world’s best for well over a century … but it’ll need to wise up to stay ‘with it’.

Yup munster only managed to scrape past the worst crusaders team in their entire super rugby history by 3 points. Cheifs, Blues, even Highlanders would easily beat Munster. NZ has always played a better standard of rugby. But the gap between the north and south has never been this close. That's thanks to all the northern teams are stacked with southern hemisphere players and coaching staff. But we can't deny that the northern hemisphere competition isn't a better competition as far as fan engagement goes. Sell out crowds pretty much every game. We are lucky if we sell out a home final nowadays.

Welp, future ideas for SR would be:
    - Affordable prices on tickets (free entry for the kiddos even), merch, food and drink
    - Better marketing and advertising
    - Scrap some if not all the new laws inspired by league and bring back the old ones.
    - Free-to-air games on TV like previously (in Australia's case anyways).
But what the heck it's just my opinion where the action was alot more entertaining than the crowd attendance even though it was a bridge too far for the Brumbies.

Perofeta was again a mixed blessing: some lovely touches but a couple of real brain farts along with them. He's definitely got talent but shouldn"t really be in the All Blacks conversation, not seriously. His decision making is too impulsive, his kicking game is ordinary and hus tendency to run rapidly into space and then just as rapidly run out of ideas makes him as much a liability as an asset.
