DV is an absolute wonder to see and imagine 1800's / early 1900's life in such an environment. Bring plenty of water to drink

Just ran across this video on 4/30/2022. I always heard about the 20mule team borax growing up. So cool to see the actual place! Thank you, Russ.

WOW, what a place, right in the middle of nowhere, just desert, hot, humid, desert, WOW!!! Incredible Russ, very pretty scenery!! You can still watch "Death Valley Days" on the WESTERN channel on tv of course, I don't remember the channel number, but, the show always starts out with those poor mules pulling those wagons, I always feel so very sorry for them!!! Dale Robertson narrates the story of the movie.

Another great video Russ, I haven't been there for over 40 years, it still looks the same except for the visitor centers. You have now given me the urge to go back and explore this great place.

Thanks for showing us some History we may otherwise have missed. I hope to travel in my motor home when I retire, and see the sites your showing us myself. History is so amazing. That's something none of my old teachers would have never thought I'd have said.
Good God those mountain goats had big gonads, yep, they probably recognize that one.

    Hey Russ,
I stayed at the Furnace Creek rv park. They have a pool.
Fabulous place and they have a Borax Museum right there with outside displays.
