My brother had a dream which was so realistic about eating a penny. We went to get three check ups etc and then we found out he was dreaming and he thought the dream was real.
I literally had an exact same dream like that when I was a toddler, but it was also with a bottle cap too. It was one of those reoccurring dreams that I couldn’t shake off for months, and I’m absolutely emotionally scared from it.
My cousin ate a poisonous insect repellent when she was young. She just felt dizzy and didn’t even go to the hospital somehow. She was alright in like five mins or so. Lmao

After going through a similar experience, I think it's best if our parents leave the pennies laying around and tie US in a box in a dark room remembering to feed us daily. We were quite troublesome children. Or may be I was.... Don't know.🤷
Here is my story by the way: When I was around the age of 4-6, I would put coins in my mouth. Please I don't do it anymore, I was young and ignorant at the time. I think it was a Saturday because everyone was home and if it wasn't a Saturday, my dad would have been at work and my older brother and i would have been in school. He was atleast 7 and if that was the case I was probably 5. Anyway, I had a penny in my mouth while I was watching TV with my brother. I was laying on a pillow on the floor when he then tried to tickle me and the penny went down my throat. My mom and dad who were also in the living room were trying desperately to have me cough out the penny.... I really don't think I did...... I probably shit it out😐. Sadly I didn't make it.
This happened to me. I was in 4th or 5th grade and I had a penny in my mouth on the bus. I was playing with my friends sitting in the seat behind my and started choking on the penny. The penny was laying horizontally and was stuck. I ended up having to SWALLOW THE PENNY. They said it was fine but I still can't forget that I ate a penny (;-_-)ノ.
My best friend swallowed a quarter when she was 6. Thank GOD it lodged in her throat on its side so she could still breathe. They rushed her to the ER in an ambulance (in case it shifted) and did surgery right away.

Gosh you must be pretty little if you don’t know somthing as simple as basic anatomy. Either way a tube leads to your lunge. If it’s blocking the lungs, air can’t get in or out.
When I was four my dad was in the kitchen and my my mom was at work. I was in the living room and noticed a tall looking chopstick I put it in my mouth and then I pressed down on the chopstick, kinda like leaned on the couch with the chopstick in my mouth 🤦♀️ so I almost choked and no I wasn’t rushed to the doctor but I was feeling pretty nauseous after so my dad had to explain to my mother why and he put a pillow and blanket on the FLOOR and that’s where I slept 👁👄👁
Me and my twin bro were litteraly the most mischievous of the whole entire family bcs one day when we were like 5 we drank kerosene and our mom did bot talk with us for a week and then we promised her that we will always ask u before we do something
Did the same thing in 1978 when I was 2 with a quarter, playin in a box. Lived in a rural town. 20 minutes out from a hospital. My Mama threw me in a 64 Ford pick-up, and hauled ass! Ended up behind a big Mack Semi truck. Didn't have cellphones, but had CB radios. She yelled at him to make hole into town, cuz her baby was dyin. I'm 44 yrs old, and my 2nd grand baby is due in 3 weeks. Wish I knew who was drivin that truck? I'm so grateful you survived. I'm sure your father is so very grateful as well. All my Love. #survivors
One time I ate a peppermint that was actually cherry flavoured, which I found disgusting, so I decided to keep it in my mouth for a few minutes before I swallowed it. Haha, that didn't work. The "peppermint" got stuck in my throat I was just sat in class casually choking. It was pretty painful and all and I could barely breathe for about 20 minutes. That was fun.
I almost died when I was about 3-4 years old. Long story short me and my fam went on vacation I accidentally went into the big pool. I didn't know how to swim yet. My 2 older cousins, older sister and older brother, had to save me. Not my parents. MY COUSINS AND SIBLINGS!! And yes, this is a true story.
My mom used to have a stick shift truck when I was like 4-5, well she took us out one day and she stopped at a gas station, the parking lot was slanted cause it was on a small hill and at the end of it was a really busy road. Well when we she got out of the truck and went into the gas station I got bored and decided to climb up to the front seat, I ended up bumping something that caused the truck to start rolling backwards towards traffic, a dude tried to open the door and get me and my sister out of the truck but the handles were messed up so there was a specific way you had to pull on the handles to get the doors open so he was just tugging at the handle frantically. My mom was at the cash register trying to buy something and the cashier turns and starts freaking out and my mom looked outside and dropped everything sprinted out to the truck, got the door open, and stopped the truck, we were about 3-5 feet from the road when she was finally able to get the truck stopped, we were 3-5 feet away from death. (Again I was 4-5 years old at the time, my twin sister was with me in the truck)
Omg so this was like 4(??) years ago, not sure. But anyway, we lived with my siblings dad(I have a different dad) and we were having a party there. All 4 of us, my brother, sister, cousin and I, were swimming in the pool when my brother decides that he wants to swim on the other side, which was deep. We had a shallow side and a deep side. But, Caleb like swim-jumps over to the deep end. I'm 4 feet behind this boy yelling at him to stop and come back, but he keeps on going. That's when he started to drown and I started screaming for help. Luckily, my mother heard and she dived in there and took caleb out. He was unconscious, but with my moms help, he regained consciousness. I was like 7 i think. Same with my cousin. So my brother was...I believe 5. My sister was about 3. Caleb and Kayli are currently living with their dad. I'm living with my mom and stepdad. It's really quiet.
One time I swallowed a penny accidentally. No problem at all. Ate the thing up like it was a dang scoop of ice cream. Also once I nearly lost my foot by tightroping on loose bricks, nearly lost my toe by slamming a garage door on it, y'know now that I think about it I was an invincible child
Lol My poor fingers and hands are always getting hit by something. Last year, I almost broke 2 of my fingers when I hit them on a table by accident, another time playing basket ball and it landed on my finger weirdly, 2 years ago, I broke a finger, and I almost broke my hand the other day. ;-;
My brother once stuck a pea in his nose when he was like 2 or 3 the funny thing is the night he was born the hospital had a similar case and I saw the nurse making the child breathing heavily from the blocked nostril while pressing a finger against the other one and I did the same thing and lucky we didn't have to take him to the doctor.
I also almost died, my mom and sister left which meant i was left with my dad. And he was checking the security cameras ykw the ussal, and I was like rolling down the stairs and i fell and hit the table!💀👍
My son swallowed a penny when he was really little and it was stuck straight up in his throat too. We had to go to a bigger hospital so it could be removed right away. I am glad our hospital took it very seriously and did their best to avoid letting it flip.
So I lived in a apartment building when I was 6 years old, a woman broke into my house, grabbed me and tried to take me away from my family. I had to freaking punch, pinch, jump-ish, kick, and scream, the woman had a knife in her hand and was about to stab me, meanwhile my family are all in the living room with these other people who were this weird woman’s accomplices. Anywaysssss...I was making noise, got out of the woman’s arms, got chased into the elevator, got to the first floor, ran to the building across the street, (still being chased, she took the emergency stairs) I kept buzzing the button for someone to let me in, and a lady opened the door outside and left, I knew she shouldn’t have done that, cause I got inside, but she was out there and i didn’t know what would happen to her so- (meanwhile my parents are still inside) I got kicked out of the building before I could explain why I was there, the woman was outside, so I screamed as loud as I could. My neighbour heard me screaming and came to my rescue, he took me from the woman, rushed me into his apartment and kept me safe there while he called the police. My parents are fine, and I’m alright. The next day my mother gave birth to my sister. The end lmao

I have 2 storys 1: so i was 4 years old once then i was with my cousins and my sis so we had a garage we like play in it but my grandpas car was in the garage so when i was running around the car i fell and i bumped my head really hard on his car then my mom and grandpa and everyone came to check on me then they took me to the hospital my head was bleeding so much it was running down my face but thankfully i was okay! 2: so i was 6 years old at the time my cousin and me and my sister were playing i was playing with my skates and my sis and my cousin were playing with hullahoops so i was skating around them then the hullahoop my cousin was using i got too close to her then the hullahoop bumped into my arm i fell on the ground and was crying so much my sis told my mom my mom took me to the hospital because I literally couldnt move my arm at all and then we went and we found out it was broken but ya im okay now thank god!
I had something like this For some reason my parents let me sleep with my older brother who is sick I knew I got a penny lost in a blanket that I always sleep with but I didn’t know where it went so when I was asleep I sleep with my mouth open I inhaled a penny luckily it went to my stomach and not my lungs no one knows to this day by the way I was three
My 5 year old cousin almost died a few times 😂 (We laugh at it now because he thinks it’s absolutely HILARIOUS.) One of the worst times was actually maybe last month? I wasn’t there but I heard the story. So one day he’s playing around in his room, like a normal 5 year old boy. (Roughhousing with the dog lol) Apparently, he went to the kitchen for water. They had one of those water dispensers. Anyway, he goes to get water and goes back to his room. He spills water ALL over the floor. Of course, he’s 5 so he doesn’t clean it up. So he leaves his room a few seconds later chasing the dog. My aunt and uncle are playing cards in the dining area right by the water dispenser, and didn’t notice the water. So he’s running, and slips on the water. He slips right into the water dispenser. His arm gets stuck in a really weird spot (I can’t explain it well but one of the buttons fell off and his arm got stuck there. It was a cheap water dispenser.). While his arm gets out of the place it’s stuck, it breaks and it’s bleeding. He had to get stitches and lost a lot of blood. He’s fine now and he lives laughing about it. I don’t think I’ll ever understand what goes on inside his head...
Yes that story is the same one that I went through when I was four but instead of acting like an acrobatic😂 I thought it was food I thought that it was a chocolate penny😂 so I swallowed it and Ichoked I could not hear and I lost my voice😬 so my mom and dad rushing me to the hospital, they had to go inside of my mouth take some sort of tweezer string and take it out😰 but now I’m 10 years old and after seven years I am OK😁
Funny story when I was four I jumped out of a second story window and was able to walk away completely unscathed by thinking about it then land on both my hands and feet at the same time so the impact was evenly spread, My mom had told me this when I was 9 and to this day it’s one of my greatest achievements.
I drank bleach when I was four..... My dad was playing a video game when it happens and my mom was at work the person who found me choking was my mom's best friend I went to the hospital and my dad didn't come with (true story)
My sister drank rubbing alcohol before🙂 let's just say it wasn't pleasant. Oh yeah and she had a little of bleach before and Vaseline, deodorant, and I think soap I'm not sure.
I was an elementary schooler at this time and my brother is 5 yrs younger. Like kids do, he likes to put stuff in his mouth. He put a penny in his mouth and later, started choking. My family was panicking and so was I. But then I remembered the Heimlich posters I always see in restaurants and performed it on him. A few pumps in and he throws up, along with the penny. He told me that hurt but I’m grateful I acted quickly.

So one day my uncle he lives at turkey ran away from home bc of his daughter (idk why) this also went in the news at turkey my aunt and others went to the mountains to search as my aunt was climbing (with no gear) she almost fell good thing her bag saved her idk how but thank god it did when she came home she was crying she also threw up and told us about it after days later my uncle was found dead in the river :(

Ok so I have a lot of almost dying moments cuz at 4 or 3 years old I got pneumonia but the most recent one was when I got grounded. So Imy online class just finished and I decided to take a shower, at this tkme it was like 6:00p.m. and my dad picked up my mom from work. After i showered i was getting ready, but at this time I was crying again I was feeling sad and flashbacks started coming back to me , so while im crying im putting perfume and deodorant and oils, while I was dokng that my brother barged into my room and told me dinner was ready and also told me that my dad grounded me. So I went downstairs and saw my parents sitting at the table, as soon as my feet touch the ground they started scolding me, saying that I spend too much time on the computer and take note this was in online school timss theres covid. So they get mad and I started crying because i was always the one who makes a mistake so I start crying and they get filled with more rage because they think crying is for weak so they get more violent with words. My dad walks out and my mom just glares at me my brother was staring at me and I was crying. Minutes after I started choking, I wasn't eating but i was choking, i couldnt breathe properly, it went on and on until I started screaming and coughing. They just looked at me, I got dizzy so i stood up hoping to go outside for air but I just fell I started shaking and I started changing color this went on for minutes until i got to the couch I sat there and tried my best to breathe, minutes went by and I went outside I breathed in and out trying my best to get air but it wasnt working i felt like fainting but luckily I didnt faint i just prayed and prayed please dont let me leave them like this, minutes went by like centuries and i hugged my dog i stabilized breathing and just hugged my dog. I HAVE A SIMILAR STORY- so i was like 7 and i was trying 2 do a magic trick with a quarter my father gave me. i was sitting in his van and i put the quarter in my month thinking it would magically disappear if i opened my mouth or smth idk man. but it started raining or smth hit the roof of the van, and it scared me so i looked up and... the quarter slid right down my throat and got lodged in my esophagus. my father found out pretty quickly that i swallowed it and drove me 2 the ER 😔 but once we got there i had 2 b transported via ambulance 2 another ER (i dont rly remember why, but surprisingly the ride wasnt so bad n i got 2 lay in a bed the whole time n somehow i took a nap?? w/ a quarter lodged in me lmao??) n they said we couldnt wait 2 let it pass thru since it was a quarter it was 2 big, and it was getting pretty hard 2 breath n it hurt so they had 2 manually get it out. i eventually got 2 the other hospital n i was put 2 sleep n they got it out safely 😌 we out here eatin coins when we were little ✌

When I was about five, I was playing the "which hand is it in" game with my mom. But I hid the penny (which is what I was using) in my mouth. I thought it was so funny how she didn't get it right, I laughed so hard I just swallowed the penny. They said my mouth was numb literally and I remember crying for my dad to see me, that's like the most I remember at the hospital. So yeah moral of the story, keep a close eye on your children

One time I ate a peppermint that was actually cherry flavoured, which I found disgusting, so I decided to keep it in my mouth for a few minutes before I swallowed it. Haha, that didn't work. The "peppermint" got stuck in my throat I was just sat in class casually choking. It was pretty painful and all and I could barely breathe for about 20 minutes. That was fun.
I almost died when I was about 3-4 years old. Long story short me and my fam went on vacation I accidentally went into the big pool. I didn't know how to swim yet. My 2 older cousins, older sister and older brother, had to save me. Not my parents. MY COUSINS AND SIBLINGS!! And yes, this is a true story.

My mom used to have a stick shift truck when I was like 4-5, well she took us out one day and she stopped at a gas station, the parking lot was slanted cause it was on a small hill and at the end of it was a really busy road. Well when we she got out of the truck and went into the gas station I got bored and decided to climb up to the front seat, I ended up bumping something that caused the truck to start rolling backwards towards traffic, a dude tried to open the door and get me and my sister out of the truck but the handles were messed up so there was a specific way you had to pull on the handles to get the doors open so he was just tugging at the handle frantically. My mom was at the cash register trying to buy something and the cashier turns and starts freaking out and my mom looked outside and dropped everything sprinted out to the truck, got the door open, and stopped the truck, we were about 3-5 feet from the road when she was finally able to get the truck stopped, we were 3-5 feet away from death. (Again I was 4-5 years old at the time, my twin sister was with me in the truck)

Omg so this was like 4(??) years ago, not sure. But anyway, we lived with my siblings dad(I have a different dad) and we were having a party there. All 4 of us, my brother, sister, cousin and I, were swimming in the pool when my brother decides that he wants to swim on the other side, which was deep. We had a shallow side and a deep side. But, Caleb like swim-jumps over to the deep end. I'm 4 feet behind this boy yelling at him to stop and come back, but he keeps on going. That's when he started to drown and I started screaming for help. Luckily, my mother heard and she dived in there and took caleb out. He was unconscious, but with my moms help, he regained consciousness. I was like 7 i think. Same with my cousin. So my brother was...I believe 5. My sister was about 3. Caleb and Kayli are currently living with their dad. I'm living with my mom and stepdad. It's really quiet.

My brother once stuck a pea in his nose when he was like 2 or 3 the funny thing is the night he was born the hospital had a similar case and I saw the nurse making the child breathing heavily from the blocked nostril while pressing a finger against the other one and I did the same thing and lucky we didn't have to take him to the doctor.
I also almost died, my mom and sister left which meant i was left with my dad. And he was checking the security cameras ykw the ussal, and I was like rolling down the stairs and i fell and hit the table!💀👍
My son swallowed a penny when he was really little and it was stuck straight up in his throat too. We had to go to a bigger hospital so it could be removed right away. I am glad our hospital took it very seriously and did their best to avoid letting it flip.

So I lived in a apartment building when I was 6 years old, a woman broke into my house, grabbed me and tried to take me away from my family. I had to freaking punch, pinch, jump-ish, kick, and scream, the woman had a knife in her hand and was about to stab me, meanwhile my family are all in the living room with these other people who were this weird woman’s accomplices. Anywaysssss...I was making noise, got out of the woman’s arms, got chased into the elevator, got to the first floor, ran to the building across the street, (still being chased, she took the emergency stairs) I kept buzzing the button for someone to let me in, and a lady opened the door outside and left, I knew she shouldn’t have done that, cause I got inside, but she was out there and i didn’t know what would happen to her so- (meanwhile my parents are still inside) I got kicked out of the building before I could explain why I was there, the woman was outside, so I screamed as loud as I could. My neighbour heard me screaming and came to my rescue, he took me from the woman, rushed me into his apartment and kept me safe there while he called the police. My parents are fine, and I’m alright. The next day my mother gave birth to my sister. The end lmao

A similar thing happened to me once, but instead I was 3-2? So I was sitting on the floor around where my sister dropped her coins, I picked up a quarter and ate it, started choking, my dad who was on the couch had saved my life :)
I have 2 storys
1: so i was 4 years old once then i was with my cousins and my sis so we had a garage we like play in it but my grandpas car was in the garage so when i was running around the car i fell and i bumped my head really hard on his car then my mom and grandpa and everyone came to check on me then they took me to the hospital my head was bleeding so much it was running down my face but thankfully i was okay!
2: so i was 6 years old at the time my cousin and me and my sister were playing i was playing with my skates and my sis and my cousin were playing with hullahoops so i was skating around them then the hullahoop my cousin was using i got too close to her then the hullahoop bumped into my arm i fell on the ground and was crying so much my sis told my mom my mom took me to the hospital because I literally couldnt move my arm at all and then we went and we found out it was broken but ya im okay now thank god!

I had something like this For some reason my parents let me sleep with my older brother who is sick I knew I got a penny lost in a blanket that I always sleep with but I didn’t know where it went so when I was asleep I sleep with my mouth open I inhaled a penny luckily it went to my stomach and not my lungs no one knows to this day by the way I was three

One of the worst times was actually maybe last month?
I wasn’t there but I heard the story.
So one day he’s playing around in his room, like a normal 5 year old boy. (Roughhousing with the dog lol) Apparently, he went to the kitchen for water. They had one of those water dispensers. Anyway, he goes to get water and goes back to his room. He spills water ALL over the floor. Of course, he’s 5 so he doesn’t clean it up. So he leaves his room a few seconds later chasing the dog. My aunt and uncle are playing cards in the dining area right by the water dispenser, and didn’t notice the water. So he’s running, and slips on the water. He slips right into the water dispenser. His arm gets stuck in a really weird spot (I can’t explain it well but one of the buttons fell off and his arm got stuck there. It was a cheap water dispenser.). While his arm gets out of the place it’s stuck, it breaks and it’s bleeding. He had to get stitches and lost a lot of blood. He’s fine now and he lives laughing about it. I don’t think I’ll ever understand what goes on inside his head...

Yes that story is the same one that I went through when I was four but instead of acting like an acrobatic😂 I thought it was food I thought that it was a chocolate penny😂 so I swallowed it and Ichoked I could not hear and I lost my voice😬 so my mom and dad rushing me to the hospital, they had to go inside of my mouth take some sort of tweezer string and take it out😰 but now I’m 10 years old and after seven years I am OK😁

Funny story when I was four I jumped out of a second story window and was able to walk away completely unscathed by thinking about it then land on both my hands and feet at the same time so the impact was evenly spread, My mom had told me this when I was 9 and to this day it’s one of my greatest achievements.

My sister drank rubbing alcohol before🙂 let's just say it wasn't pleasant. Oh yeah and she had a little of bleach before and Vaseline, deodorant, and I think soap I'm not sure.

I was an elementary schooler at this time and my brother is 5 yrs younger. Like kids do, he likes to put stuff in his mouth.
He put a penny in his mouth and later, started choking. My family was panicking and so was I.
But then I remembered the Heimlich posters I always see in restaurants and performed it on him. A few pumps in and he throws up, along with the penny.
He told me that hurt but I’m grateful I acted quickly.

So one day my uncle he lives at turkey ran away from home bc of his daughter (idk why) this also went in the news at turkey my aunt and others went to the mountains to search as my aunt was climbing (with no gear) she almost fell good thing her bag saved her idk how but thank god it did when she came home she was crying she also threw up and told us about it after days later my uncle was found dead in the river :(

And realized that my life flashed before my eyes and I was a dumbass 😐 -10/10 experience wouldn’t recommend

Ok so I have a lot of almost dying moments cuz at 4 or 3 years old I got pneumonia but the most recent one was when I got grounded. So Imy online class just finished and I decided to take a shower, at this tkme it was like 6:00p.m. and my dad picked up my mom from work. After i showered i was getting ready, but at this time I was crying again I was feeling sad and flashbacks started coming back to me , so while im crying im putting perfume and deodorant and oils, while I was dokng that my brother barged into my room and told me dinner was ready and also told me that my dad grounded me. So I went downstairs and saw my parents sitting at the table, as soon as my feet touch the ground they started scolding me, saying that I spend too much time on the computer and take note this was in online school timss theres covid. So they get mad and I started crying because i was always the one who makes a mistake so I start crying and they get filled with more rage because they think crying is for weak so they get more violent with words. My dad walks out and my mom just glares at me my brother was staring at me and I was crying. Minutes after I started choking, I wasn't eating but i was choking, i couldnt breathe properly, it went on and on until I started screaming and coughing. They just looked at me, I got dizzy so i stood up hoping to go outside for air but I just fell I started shaking and I started changing color this went on for minutes until i got to the couch I sat there and tried my best to breathe, minutes went by and I went outside I breathed in and out trying my best to get air but it wasnt working i felt like fainting but luckily I didnt faint i just prayed and prayed please dont let me leave them like this, minutes went by like centuries and i hugged my dog i stabilized breathing and just hugged my dog. There was this one time when I was 6 or 7 and I was taking a bubble bath.i wanted to se how it will taste so I drank the water and ate the soap and choked on it . From this day on I'm not aloud bubble baths any more :( I ve leared my lesson now

I HAVE A SIMILAR STORY- so i was like 7 and i was trying 2 do a magic trick with a quarter my father gave me. i was sitting in his van and i put the quarter in my month thinking it would magically disappear if i opened my mouth or smth idk man. but it started raining or smth hit the roof of the van, and it scared me so i looked up and... the quarter slid right down my throat and got lodged in my esophagus. my father found out pretty quickly that i swallowed it and drove me 2 the ER 😔 but once we got there i had 2 b transported via ambulance 2 another ER (i dont rly remember why, but surprisingly the ride wasnt so bad n i got 2 lay in a bed the whole time n somehow i took a nap?? w/ a quarter lodged in me lmao??) n they said we couldnt wait 2 let it pass thru since it was a quarter it was 2 big, and it was getting pretty hard 2 breath n it hurt so they had 2 manually get it out. i eventually got 2 the other hospital n i was put 2 sleep n they got it out safely 😌 we out here eatin coins when we were little ✌

When I was about five, I was playing the "which hand is it in" game with my mom. But I hid the penny (which is what I was using) in my mouth. I thought it was so funny how she didn't get it right, I laughed so hard I just swallowed the penny. My mom tried to drive me to the ER, but i was like "No! *cough, cough, inhale* I'll be fine! *cough*" We didn't go and now I think that story is so funny😂😂😂

So Its been minutes and my mom comes over to check up on my and she told me I looked like a statue, I was sitting with my hands still holding the bottle, my mouth open, I'm drooling. They said my mouth was numb literally and I remember crying for my dad to see me, that's like the most I remember at the hospital. So yeah moral of the story, keep a close eye on your children
