I'm a beginner violin player, and seeing you play in this point of view has helped me realize how humanly possible it is to play, and that it truly takes discipline and hard work to become a great violin player.
i really like the tempos and the little rubatos in the chromatic scales really calm and the octave passages are clean and in a good tempo so you can hear all the articulations....really like it not like most other interpretations rushing the tempo for cheating passages... good job
I really loved the captivating performance. Amazing. I also like the idea of POV pieces. Of all the recordings of No. 17 I’ve heard, this one has the best tone quality. Loves it
Lee Lynn The octave fingerings are from the IMC publication. I have never researched why they are like this, and I have just stuck to the normal 1-4 octave fingering for this caprice. Not all of us are prodigies and/or lifelong violinists 😁
This is probably my favorite Paganini caprice and you played it beautifully. Also, those octaves! I can play them at the same speed as you did. Maybe slightly faster.

Amazing, I’m a youngest violinist and this gives me a lot of inspiration!

Still working on it...and many recordings are even faster! Although, musically, I like a somewhat moderate tempo myself.. enjoy! -Sean

What tool do you use to record? I mean, where do you put it? In a hat?
Omg this is impossible....I don’t think my fingers will ever move that fast
Sometimes I feel the same way when I hear recordings of some other violinists... -Sean
Awesome video! Nicely done. What violin do you play?
+lorentho Thank you, I perform on a violin by David Bague, made in 1999 for Ruggiero Ricci -Sean
