You made it look so easy I want to take my apart so I can repaint the shell and put it back together but I don’t have a lot of money in case I end up messing it up
For me it's the opposite. Screen/shell replacement on lites is a piece of cake. On the other hand I managed to mess up my phat DS'es top and bot screen during a shell replacement.

phat ds's or ds shells and screens are pretty cheap on the market these days, you dont really have to worry bout those

Yeah the og ds fat is easier to work on but if you have taken a ds lite apparr more than once to do anythinh you pretty much get used to the thing
