Kit is an amazing human being but if we're talking about who's the better character I'd say Tate. He is a complex character and very interesting to watch and his character development is commendable while Kit is the stereotypical good guy; I like my characters dark. I also think that Evan Peter's acting was at its best when he was portraying Tate- it feels more raw and natural. Tate is the biggest monster of Season 1 and its no joke to portray a monster as a sympathetic psychopath and he aced it.
Tate has an interesting story and personnality but Kit was also a really interesting character. The thing is Tate's story was so much more powerful and he was a lot more likable than Kit... Only my opinion.
Tate was more of the headline character in season one, a large portion of the main plot line was revolving around him and violet, while Kit is a major aspect of season 2 his story can run parallel with the others he has a separate story and his isn't really the one they are truly focusing on, Lana is the main character of season 2 primarily, her and Jude, so the story is more so tailored around them and thus Kit isn't as deep of a character as Tate.
I don't understand! There can be no comparing these two amazing characters, they're both brilliant and interesting! I love Tate's scary, psychotic nature, because it's so disturbing and beautiful to watch him on screen. I love Kit because of his selfless nature, how he took 40 lashes to save his friend from 20... that was incredibly brave! The two are like, the opposites of eachother, and I love that. But I can't compare the two or pick a favorite, because they are two different characters who share nothing more then an actor! Love them both. AHS Fan~

I really loved Tate because of the lovestory with Violet, but I choose Kit because of the person he is. Evan has been great in Asylum and it was the best season!

Once again, Evan's acting was amazing and it made you love the character. Both are very interesting in their own way and I just don't know which one I like better. Either way, all credits go to Evan.
Evan Peters plays both..so I find great things in both characters..both are seen as killers..innocent or not.....and somewhat dark and troubled...He nailed both roles via AHS..cannot wait for his role in AHS:Coven. Hes so underrated as an actor..
well, kit is an innocent kind guy, while tate is the devil himself, but he's so damn charming.. he's like one of those people, who have never been loved in their life and dare you to change that. i guess i'm attracted to psychos, so i'll go with tate. however, i'm attracted to evan peters in all seasons, no matter what role he plays.💝
Oh I actually love both of them. Tate is a bit darker (so far) but there's something about Kit that's really intriguing to me. I will hold my judgement until after this season, I think. :)
