Love the tips and video, but was wondering if you can plant these in leca? Mine have bloomed but not very well and they look like they are struggling 😕. Any additional tip or advice? TIA
I would like to know why the buds fall off before they open. Mine came out with tons of buds and bloomed out beautiful but then the smaller buds started falling of so now its pretty much done . Any thoughts are much appreciated.
It must have gone into shock for some reason. We would have to do a full consult to narrow down where the shock came from. What you’re experiencing is called “bud blasting.”
I have an old christmas cactus that I'm trying to rehab back into shape. Stems are very woody, leaves are limp. When you place them outside during warmer months, do you leave it in full shade the entire time, or do you gradually move to a part-sunny spot?
Sun stress! It’s not a bad thing, it just means the plant is getting very strong light. If you keep up with watering and fertilizer, it’ll bloom really great for you.
@@tannertheplanter102 Does it make a difference that the plant is really old (like probably close to 100 years old…it is a combo of 2 great grandmothers’ plants). I’ve had it for 25 years and haven’t ever seen it do this.
