When you're using a blender and recycling waste paper, there are several things you can do to make stronger paper. 1) Recycle a 'strong' paper. Think of paper products that hold weight like a grocery bag or folder. They're made of longer 'stronger' fibers and so will you new handmade sheet to some degree. You can also add cotton linter or abaca fibers to gain strength. Let us know if this information helps.
Dear Mr. Grummer, I'm amazed by your videos and find it very helpful and instructive. Now I would like to ask you, where can I purchase that screenmaterial. (I want to make deckle and frame by myself, instead of buying such a perfect crafted tool/papermaking kit) I thought I heard you say it's a meterial that is used on industrial papermachines. Can you give me a hint, where one can purchase it?
hello Sir, could you please tells us, what is yellow color water ? i really loved your video, Thank you very much... please please please, anybody tell me, about yellow color water....
unfortunately, I believe that this man has passed many years ago. Yellow colored water can be made simply with dye and water. Industrial dyes, food coloring, natrual dye, cumin, etc.
Please can someone help me - I have read it is possible to make a " simulated watermark " though the details are sketchy at best. I believe opaque white ink is used - can this be used in conjuction with a rubber stamp to simply stamp a fake watermark on to printer paper?
Arnold has a complete section on making simple watermarks in his book, 'Guide to Easy Papermaking'. I believe he gives details instructions for the techniques shown here.
Three things are required to make paper. Water, fiber and a screen. Any liquid you see is either just plain water, or blended pulp made with water and wastepaper in a kitchen blender.
@papermoney54 cuz those ones are more complex and cool. im not a counterfitter. just that those are much more compllex. would like to know how they make those sheesh.
I want to know how to make the Fabriano watermark, not the wire watermarks! Thanks for the great video anyway, i'm working on the Fabriano shaded watermarks.
Um...no. I would strongly advise against doing that. It is a serious copyright infringement against Fabriano to use their logo AT ALL; You would be committing fraud. The only reason you'd want to do that seems nefarious.
Thumbs up for anyone who came here trying to learn about counterfeit money

excellent technic for paper water mark creation.
What white liquid is in the big plastic bucket and what that yellow liquid that he put in the end on paper?
I haven't looked [yet] but he referred to previous basic-papermaking lessons, which doubtless describe the liquid and the pulp. Check his channel!
What is the yellow liquid that is mixed with water?

Window screen material similar to the one used by Mr Grummer is widely available at any big box store

Try to find the article about the Fabriano mill in Italy in Hand Papermaking Magazine. An excellent read and impressive old world technique.
