But memes aside, we have absulute bangers, mainly some indie stuff like Noita (Finnish arson simulator), Baba is You, Ultrakill, Cruelty Squad, My Summer Car (Accurate Finland Rally Sim), Barotrauma, Fear and Hunger and also the abslute masterpeices from Remedy Entertainment like Alan Wake, Control and Quantum Break!
Developer Erasure has released couple of cool games. ZeroRanger and Void Stranger. Void Stranger definitely fits under the lable of "weird and sadistic games".

"Myrkky" magazine had this one minigame that came with one of their issues on a 3,5inch floppy disk where your objective was to pop pimples on a dudes face. Very cool.

Then the video went viral for some reason :D I was also the first (only one?) to record a complete playthrough of Damage. Though Damage wasn't a bad game, Finnish developers actually made some good games. Especially in the 90s, such as Tapan Kaikki, Mine Bombers, Slick and Slide and Stardust. Not just cringe crap. EDIT: SpurguX is also worth checking out and would fit well into this video ;)

There's a game I played as a teen, that's probably Finnish, I could never find again. It was like, a drunk driving simulator in the style of Test Drive 3D era graphics, and you could pick how many drinks you had and you had to I think, drive home safely from a party. The more drinks, the longer the delay between inputs. It wasn't a super fun game but the fact I could never find it again, despite asking on multiple lost games forums, drives me insane. It had lots of letters like Finnish language, but it could have been some other Scandinavian language with all the extra dotted letters.
These and all those pornographic images... I guess the teachers weren't too concerned about the games when the students were downloading "art pictures" and then copying them to the computers that weren't connected to the internet. Our teachers were regularly deleting files - often because someone got caught looking at the secret folder 😂
