Thanks, I appreciate that. Ive always done well mostly with catfish down there. This one was kind of an off day. There had been a lot of pressure the last few days. But normally if you can get the opposite side and work that drop off you should do well.
@@mikedtv4221 Well went out today to the dam. The water is crazy due to the rain. I successfully lost 3 lures, most my bait for my catfish rigs and broke a rod. Haha however I did manage to snag a pretty fat drum while reeling in a lure! Lol I tossed the poor guy back. The waters just too murky and flowing too fast right now I think. Maybe next time.
I see you were on the little island in the middle of the river, how did you get down there? I went to the dam last week but i was on the left side of the dam and couldn't see a way to get there
Sometimes there’s a shallow crossing where the river bends down by the end of the concrete walkway. About waste high. I haven’t been since this video though so it’s hit and miss I’m sure
Walk down the walkway down from the dam, where the river bends, it’s shallow enough to cross (as long as it hasn’t rained recently) cross to the little island and go twords the dam the water is very shallow on the other side so you can get to the dam side pretty easy

Yep still standing. I’ve heard one further down river was knocked down some time ago... but I could be wrong.
