The only way a longer barrel would be more accurate would be a first strike round, in a rifled barrel. Any other regular paintball shows that anything past 12” doesn’t make it more or less accurate. It’s a round sphere that’s going to bend whenever it gets the chance
No velocity test? That’s where your drag would show. Consistency (or accuracy as some call it) would not show the negative effects of drag unless the drag was placed inconsistently along the barrel (like in a poor quality or dirty barrel), which can happen in any barrel and is often outweighed by the inconsistency of the paintball itself.
Not really. Paintballs are an imperfect round ball, and barrels are smooth bore and like muskets of old, most are not accurate beyond 75 feet. It’s the basics of ballistics.
