      WHERE are the new 128 Bit processors ? 64 Bit is OLD, old like 8 Bit, but at least the Commodore 64 is enjoyable fun! 🙂 64 Bit is already long in the tooth, and showing it's limitations - otherwise INTEL would have to shove loads of P-Cores and E-Cores in one CPU to try and pathetically squeeze out a little more performance from an obsolete legacy design. 128 Bit fixes that, just like 64 was more powerful than 32, and 16, and 8 Bit. NOW is the time for Intel to go 128 !

    I love my 13900K with Z690 STRIX D4 but... most of 13th gen locked CPU's are based on Alder Lake + using older D5 controller 4800MHz instead of 5600MHz. Only 13700 non-K and 13900 non-K use 5600 one and they're based on Raptor. If I'd have 12400F I would go with 13600K this time.

    • @TitanPlakInside
      @TitanPlakInside ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They basically used a refreshed Alder lake die into a 65W 13th gen Core i3 and i5 this time around, hence the DDR5-4800 support.
      While the actual Raptor lake die with 65W is only found on the 13th gen i7 and i9 tier.

      That price range depends on which laptop you want, from which brand, with which Intel 13th Gen chip etc etc.. The sweet spot is usually around 600$. Thats the most PC for your buck. Below that usually isn't too good and above that you have to pay a lot more to get more too.

    Just bought a Lenovo 6 months ago with 12th generation chipset. I knew I should've waited but honestly couldn't. Planned obsolescence in action. Not your fault Intel, and not AMD's fault. It's the consumers fault for buying into the need for planned obsolescence. Boy oh boy have you profited off of consumer "ignorance". That artificially created demand for faster clock speeds, more memory, more now more more now NOW! DeBeers does it with diamonds...

      @@vmafarah9473 Nm is a lot of marketing talk my friend. Not that AMD doesnt have better power efficiency than Intel tho, they do, right now. Intel machines offer more absolute power though. Definitelty in multi core Intel crushes AMD. And btw, you know AMD isn't manufactering the 5nm node right? It's TSMC. Apple will probably even use their 3nm this year. But again, it's a lot of marketing talk. Compare chips for what you're looking for instead of looking at this nonsense number.

    Is Intel and AMD competing with each other to see who can make better CPUs and other amazing products that they release to the general public? If they are then I'm on Intel's side but about their Intel Management Engine. They need to make the backdoor chip open-source so good people will be able to find new exploits that are capable of hacking into the backdoor chip and use it to take control of the computer.
