    Stumbled upon the video when trying to search for a how to preserve boxwood. Thanks for the video. The wreath looks nice. Quick question, will the boxwood retain the green color after few months or it will turn brown?Planning to make one for myself . Thank you!

      Hello! Thanks for stopping by. The boxwood will stay green for a few months and after that will start to fade. If it’s colder the green will last longer. After the color changes too much it can always be painted or sprayed to brighten it up. To keep the green I wonder if silica drying crystals would work? I haven’t tried that yet and would need quite a bit for a large wreath. Hope that helps! -Jane

    It may be helpful to know that any live plant material wreaths that are conifers or semi-conifers will be happier outside and last longer.

      That's a great point! It will absolutely last longer outside than in, especially with the dry air we have in our homes in the winter! Thank you so much for stopping by. -Jane
