Love them. I have to say that speckle did look good enough to eat. Thanks for sharing this. Have to say I just love your nails. Best wishes from Australia x
I'm a professional cake decorator. We only use couplers when we need the same color using different tips, so you can easily change them out. This is too cute! Thanks for sharing!
That looked so real and I love how easy it is. I couldn't find those liners you had as yours look like they would hold up well rather than the light weight ones. Thank you for this inspiring video.
I love this idea Amber 💕 The fact that you used Christmas baubles is genius, it's much better than wasting little styrofoam balls 😉 Thanks for sharing 🤗 xo
So cute! I have been making with the mini mugs from Hobby lobby and sold quite a few! I use the chaulk from the DT. Those are the sprinkles I got a few months ago and also bought some gingerbread men at HL and candy canes. So cute
A coupler basically is used when you are going to have to change tip sizes during your creating verses making a separate bag for each tip, therefore, if you are not using different sizes of tips you don’t need the coupler.
I love your faux cupcakes. You did a different technique a year or so age and mine have set out since that time. I would love to see more items to add to my collection on the sweets counter. Thank you for this new way of making them.
I absolutely love these fake Christmas cupcakes. I have several cupcakes already made just needed to put the icing on them. I love the idea of the cupcake cups and now thanks to you I bought the same lightweight sparkle as you and can do my icing. Thank you so much you really rock! I was trying to find video's on how to do my icing and your link popped up. Woohoo!
Oh! How I wish I had a D.T. Plus store local to me!!! Every time I watch videos where people have one I just eat my heart out! I guess I'll just have to improvise! They may have some cute ones in Hobby Lobby? TFS Loved your cupcakes!!! Take Care God Bless & Merry Christmas!!!
I know I’m late but I’m trying to learn fake bakes and I must say, I like you. It’s winter and the weather here is depressing me but you are like a breath of fresh air. The tutorial is great and you make me laugh 😂
You would have to wait until the spackle was completely dry before playing any sort of adhesive. If not, it will hold in moisture, and itll never cure.
Amber , These are so darn cute! I absolutely love your videos ❤️. I was curious can you color the spackle?? Like with a few drops of food coloring?? 🤔 I would love to make different color ones but thought I should ask you first. You're so talented and I have really learned a lot since subscribing to your channel. I love crafting. Thank you again Amber for sharing your time and talent with us.
@@judithhermis875 thank you. I will try that. Amber makes the cutest crafts. This is one I definitely want to do. Hope you have a wonderful blessed Christmas and new year. God bless
These little fake cupcakes are so so cute!! Could a person use real sprinkles if I'm just going to use it this year? I wouldn't keep it until next year with real sprinkles on it. Or is there another reason why real sprinkles shouldn't be used? Thanks for sharing!! ♥️😃🧁
Would these be waterproof ? I want to make a giant one for outdoor at Christmas time . I live in a rainy area . I’ve seen some people use spray foam for insulation & some use the spackle like you did. Yours is so cute !
If it’s going to be in the weather, I would say to seal it with something like Krylon crystal clear triple thick glaze. It comes in a spray can. You can get it at Walmart over in the spray paint section.
Question. Can you use regular sprinkles and peppermint then seal it. I only ask because I think that would give you a little bit of the “sweets” or “cupcake” smell. People may enjoy that scent. Just curious. I love your videos and tutorials.
If it is sealed, you will not be able to smell it. Depending on the brand, sometimes the sprinkles will bleed into the spackle. I’ve used Wilton, and it did not bleed, but I cannot speak for other brands.

Empty Pringles cans work great for filling piping bags.
These are adorable! Such a cute idea. Thank you!

Hi Amber 😊 These cupcakes 🧁 are so stinkin’ cute!
Seems simple when you do it. I will try it.❤❤❤

About how long do they take to dry Amber? A few days?

So cute!
thats funny even the fly thought it was a real cupcake.
Good grief I love these. 😍
So cute I have to make them
Cute
So very cute
Super CUTE
Love these ❤😊
Does the clear spray yellow on the white ?
No. Many brands have it on the label that say non-yellowing. Krylon triple thick crystal clear glaze does not turn yellow.
So cute
if you use the heaver spackel on the bottom you wouldn't need the stones
Stones are cheaper lol
Could you use spray glue b4 the sprinkles? Not sure how strong it is
You would have to wait until the spackle was completely dry before playing any sort of adhesive. If not, it will hold in moisture, and itll never cure.
I've always thought these were so cute
one of these days I'm going to make some hopefully next year when we move to a bigger house
I tried using the light weight spackle in a pastry bag and it would not come out. Any ideas why?
Amber ,

You can color it with acrylic paint. I’ve done this before and it works great. I’ve never tried food coloring.
@@judithhermis875 thank you. I will try that. Amber makes the cutest crafts. This is one I definitely want to do. Hope you have a wonderful blessed Christmas and new year. God bless

I have used real sprinkles before, they were Wilton brand. And they worked just fine. some cheaper brands bled, but not Wilton.
@@ThisSouthernGirlCan oh ok ya I never thought of the colors bleeding. Thank you!
That i so cute. Sorry I am lso late comment on this thank you for showing us all th your.beautiful crafts. 💜🎄💜

@@ThisSouthernGirlCan well now that makes sense. 😂 🤦🏽♀️didn’t think of that at all. I will take your advise and use the clay sprinkles. Thanks.
