I was horrified, although not surprised, when I crashed my wifes evening art history course at Birkbeck College. Every woke trope was on full display. I caused quite a stir when I interjected and disagreed with every mad woke statement the lecturer made. Of course I was shouted down and called a racist. In a room of roughly 40 people nobody took my side.
Our oldest grandson time at Uni was ruined because he happened to make an un Woke comment and now we live in fear of his brother now at Uni suffering the same experience. I use to wish I had gone to Uni because of having the opportunity to discuss major issues of the day with others so it's sad to think that it is no longer possible.

When I noticed that my comments were sometimes ghost-blocked (only visible to me), I started keeping notes about what I said, and watching for when I was being blocked. After a year of doing this, and based upon content and time-of-day, it is reasonable to say that discussion has been tweaked to fit a narrative. (And I fully doubt that I'm the only victim of this censorship. It's probably been going on for years, which would explain how "rapidly" the issues have spread, per Nick Timothy's statements.)

It is hugely worrying that Penny Mordaunt can stand *at the Despatch Box* and parrot 'Trans men are men. Trans women are women'. The presence of someone like her is hugely worrying.
I won't be parroting the same vote for her party as I did for the last 20 years. She can cluck about that instead and do what we voted them in for in future.
I think she meant 'trans men who say they are now women are still men and vice versa. It is ambiguous though as 'trans men' can be either 'men who call themselves men but started life as women' or ' men who think they are women whilst still being men'. Reading her normal conversations, I think she thinks 'men who say they are now women are still essentially men' and vice versa. Not that she thinks they really are!
I really do think that we need some kind of civil disobedience. there is nothing in the constitution right now that allows the voting public to disagree with Government in the middle of a term of office. Or indeed, to disapprove of the PM the party in power have brought in. We either bring about some kind of electoral change or start on civil disobedience.

While I agree with most of what the speaker said. I take issue with the idea that much of the current dogma came out of nowhere a few years ago. Anyone who thinks that wasn't paying attention to what was being said on college campuses or online for the last 20 years - it was all very much happening there decades ago.
I was a mature student in 2000-2001 and I remember the things we could and could not say about everyday conversations. None of us were phobic or racist, be whoever you want to be, as long as you are happy and don't hurt anybody else, help someone if they want help, do something positive without all of the hate and anger that's around now.

I've never understood why people are willing to sell a piece of their soul merely to conform. Or maybe I just exited the womb an awkward bugger? Yes it made life extremely hard at times, and goodness knows how I survived a 27 year career in the public sector. Actually I do know: I never quite stepped far enough over the line to be disciplined, and I ensured I was always too difficult for my weak supervisors to deal with. Their preferred option being to leave me alone. On reflection, I was lucky enough to retire just before things fully imploded and spent umpteen years in a niche role that largely flew under the radar. I understood early on that promotion in the public sector would require a level of ethical sacrifice I was unwilling to make.

Yes it made life extremely hard at times, and goodness knows how I survived a 27 year career in the public sector.
Actually I do know: I never quite stepped far enough over the line to be disciplined, and I ensured I was always too difficult for my weak supervisors to deal with. Their preferred option being to leave me alone.
On reflection, I was lucky enough to retire just before things fully imploded and spent umpteen years in a niche role that largely flew under the radar. I understood early on that promotion in the public sector would require a level of ethical sacrifice I was unwilling to make.

Why would he not want PR? Surely its a very realistic way of getting weak politicians to start to sit up and listen.
While people are scared and dont fifht against this radical agenda, they cannot complain when the rights, fought for by their ancestors, are eroded away. If you dont stand up against this, you are oart of the problem. I personally have lost friends and family members but I have children, and what happens to me is a minor consequence!
