Thanks for sharing GD&T in such a practical, useful and important perspective. I like the tree branch example : ) . It really emphasizes the point. Keep up the good work!!
at 9:43 : datums are not always mutually perpendicular to each other. Datum Reference Frame does that, DRF is defined by datums even though if these datums are not perpendicular to each other.
Thanks Quint, great video. I have a question though. What do you do if you have another feature not perpendicular to the datums you just set up? Would I need to set up a new datum system to relate to this feature? Thanks
This is one of the most intuitive video-series on GD&T that exists on TH-cam. Thank you and please keep this great work going!
For sum of all videos: The thing you do is beyond the education , beyond the engineering and GD&T. It's definitively art.
I sat through an hour lecture on datums, then a followup a few days later... you more clearly explained them in 12 min. Bravo.

This is a BRILLIANT series! EXTREMELY helpful.

Thank you Quint! Very helpful
Superb

Great explanation yet again!

Simple and Intuitive
Great! Keep up the good work u are saving my life :)
Great videos ...cheers !!
thank you very much sir
Is there a part 2 to this video?
At 12:07, why is there no perpendicularity symbol that goes with datum A?
Same doubt here!!! @Quint Crispin
im having a hard time understanind coaxiality, concentricity and runout
@@quintgdt8751 lets just say the tolleerance is on a shaft, the concentricity and coaxiality, how do i know if that is concentric or coaxial
i like the way you wasted the part , just to make people understand, haha.
How many trees died in the making of this video
What the heck is that
