I remember that, as a child, I wanted to work writing at Marvel, and somehow I thought Black Terror was a Marvel character, so as I child I pulled a Stan Lee out of Black Terror and reimagined Black Terror in a new way, just as Lee did with the Human Torch. As time went on I left off that idea because I continued to think that Black Terror was onwed by Marvel. In recent years I realized that The Black Terror is on the public domain, and your video basically showed me that I can use the character without legal repercussions. Amazing video and thank you 🖤☠️
I recently found a run of the black terror while thinking through some back issues bins. I'll enjoying it so far. The art reminds me of 1602 from marvel. Which in no way is a bad thing.
Is the Black Terror really in the public domain? No source I found online seems to agree on that, some even say he is actually owned by DC/Time Warner still, they just haven't enforced their rights on the character.
search Black Terror public domain.... re-read what you commented... would it really make sense for a powerhouse like DC/Time Warner to allow other publishers to profit off characters they own without receiving royalties? They've filed law suits for a lot less... Dc never owned The Black Terror, their imprint America's Best Comics published comics of the Black Terror in the same way that Dynamite now does, but DC never actually owned rights to the character. The copyright was held by Ned Pines, but he allowed it to laps when his publishing houses folded.
If I work at the Warner Bros animation I'll direct an animated episode featuring Black Terror, Daredevil, Miss Masque, villains, and allies respectively.
Black Terror came before both... Black Terror made his first appearance in January 1941. Captain America made his first appearance in March of 1941, and The Punisher made his first appearance in February on 1974. Captain America wasn't even the first patriotic superhero... that title goes to The Shield.

You should give it a go.
One of my favorites Golden Age Super heroes
Precursor to the Punisher? Sounds and looks right to me
I want to use this character so badly.

His new stories in Dynamite got black comedy all over it.
glad you enjoyed. thanks for watching!
Can we please have a origin of Uncle Sam
His costume reminds me of the 70's Japanese anime Captain harlock
Black Terror to The Punisher and Captain Harlock: "We wear *skulls* on our chests! Does that make us The Baddies?" 🤨

son habillement , son costume me fait beaucoup penser à Albator ...
Black terror's a mixture of punisher and captain America 👍

hey how are you doing oldest superheroes in comic book that you talkin about do you think they will ever make a movie of them?
I doubt theyll make movies about them. I make these videos about them because very few other channels do. And I dont want them to be forgotten.
Very unlikely. They're cool but established here es are more developed and by far more popular.
Wow!, great video.
I ❤️ that Cape
Pretty damn good info man
