Buy the new ramps, raffle the old ones and with the money buy the crane. Then I'd sell advertising space to the companies that use TT trucking services. 😂
Hi Tim, Love your videos. Just a thought on strapping don’t keep them flat and untwisted this will lead to thrumming as the air goes through them. The vibration causes the straps to chafe and wear through. Best to twist them and avoid the thrumming prolonging the life of the straps.
Little tip for you with straps like over the Glass is twist your straps either side it stops them "Singing" which also can make them fracture where vibrates over what you have them tight over! Also you need lengths of padding like Carpet.
Great video tim looks like you had a smashing time and you look shattered after a day's work sorry pun intended. I like how you get all sorts of loads at the moment since data shredders anything from sheep I believe to windows and cranes which is amazing that it weighed 14 tonne but kind of like a giant rc car looked fun to operate.
That was a beeping mess at the end, 😂😂😂 well done TT , can't say I would've enjoyed having the glass on board , as always , top job drive , be lucky , BA BAAAAARRBB
Love the content, spent last couple days watching most of you videos. Please couyld you mark them in order as struggle to follow the time line. Was so gutted to see the damage at the truckfest! keep up the great work, Happy New Year to you all
As an apprentice, my boss was having a new house built. He sent myself and another apprentice to pick his new windows up from the supplier in a works van and take them to his new house. We loaded them up and Pat (the other apprentice) went in the back to make sure they wouldn't move about. First roundabout I got to I heard the words from the back of the van "oh $hit!". That was closely followed by the sound of shattering glass. I pulled in and opened the back doors. Pat was lying in a mountain of shattered glass. Every pane was done. I blamed it on Pat. We both got our ar$es kicked but the mechanics had a right laugh and gave us a pat on the back :)
I used to do removals, this couple had 6 mirrored double wardrobe doors, as normal i said we bring things to the van and i alone will load it if i can, any damage between me putting in and getting out i pay for, okay, they agreed (as per t's & c's signed anyway, when they noticed i had put the first 4 in flat on the floor with just a sheet in between he went mad, so after a discussion we changed the rules, (signed again) they can load these next two they wish, IF mine break i pay, if these break they pay, if i load my my way and they break i pay, long story short mine was fine, there top one broke before they got it out the van and the second as soon as they touched it, my 4 was fine and i took upstairs myself to prove it, i must have said a hundred times that a mattress sounds like a good idea underneath but the glass don't want to flex so will crack, leave then all flat on the floor. o well they learnt lol.
Depending on your job and what you were an apprentice in, that sounds like it was the Bosses fault. Well, it was. Any fuck up ultimately should be on the boss/owner as they're the ones responsible for pretty much everything. Especially when it comes to apprentices. You boss was responsible for making sure you had what you needed to get the glass back safely. You shouldn't have needed one of you in the back of a van, which sounds slightly illegal. How long ago was this? A few years or a few decades ago? If it were recent, I'd say you had a shit boss. Every good boss/leader worth working for takes responsibility for everything going on, including fuck ups made by employees, because it's again, the boss's job to limit fuck ups that can be completely avoided. The only thing a boss/owner isn't responsible for is negligence on the employees part. Can't exactly stop someone from being negligent can you. It's funny because some bosses out there seem to think responsibility and accountability trickles down the chain of hierarchy, when it absolutely doesn't.
Hey Trucker Tim if you are going too keep transporting trucks, tractors, cars, glass or anything else for your customers you need too get some longer ramps on your trailer.
Love the content. I always look forward to the new videos dropping. Can't wait to see the S Series looking even better than it does already, the one thing to spend on though...... you gotta get new ramps, GBT sold you a couple of junkers on that trailer. Some with a longer run up and less slats would make your life a LOT easier.
Hey Tim, that was a great video I can’t wait for the next part. I loved the part at the end when the glass broke, and yes, we definitely need a new ramps.
Another good vlog Tim, say I used to load that type of glass alday and it only takes alittle tap on the edge or corner for the whole thing to shatter £6k glass pane gone in a split second.
" 2 Tugs & She's Done " Thats what He Said 😅😊 Was that Thunderbird 6 or 7 Tim Boyyy 🙈, , Tell me that wasnt You Tim , Casually Walking away , losing the Hammer 😅 Great Vid 👌👍
tim i recently went to sweden hauling strawberries and on the border there was a sticker of trucker tim! you really are well known keep the trucking up
IN MY OPINION: as comedic it is showing for example the glass smashing when talking about it start of video, from my point of view I just want to fast forward and skip through the video to see it happening rather than watch it all, of course I still watch it but there been previous times where I just 2x the video or skip it couple seconds forward, anyways great vid 👍
Tim instead of buying the yellow crane you need to buy yourself some new ramps. Love your videos.
He needs both haha 😊
Buy the new ramps, raffle the old ones and with the money buy the crane.
Then I'd sell advertising space to the companies that use TT trucking services. 😂
Yep his ramps are totally shite!!
Sod the Ramps he needs a HGV lo Boy Trailer the Body slides over the Wheels, No Ramps Needed
Th.cfuu fj
Please get some new ramps Tim before you injure yourself or someone else, you look the part until you pull the ramps out. Keep up the good work.

Great video that little crane has some fair reach 😮👍

That house is insane! I can’t imagine what that’s costing, especially in that area. Fair play to the owner!
That looks like a lovely little coastal town honestly. What a cool job that!
