Great video! What section of the park did you stay at?

Thank you for watching!! I believe that we stayed in the Oak and poplar campground. We loved our site. There was lots of room between each site.

You will have a blast!! There are lots of watersports there. Pack some life jackets 😂😉

If you're looking to get away from the traffic noise, try booking a site back in the Maple loop. It's further away from the highway and much quieter there.

We have been to Six Mile Lake twice this year being so close to us in Barrie. Our June trip was marred with caterpillars. They were so bad we couldn't stay outdoors. Glad we returned in September as the dog area and beach are great. Our site was perfect for or 31 foot motorhome. Park staff are friendly and the park store was well stocked for a Provincial park during covid

When we were there we didn't see 1 caterpillar the whole time. Our "Big Pup" Bruno loved the dog beach as well. I went in for a swim there and found that it was fine until I got out a little bit.
The main beach was awesome and I love the store.
I guess 1 more "con" was that they didn't have blocks of ice when we went

Camp grounds seem to be so close

I've visited this park well over 20 times since the early 1990s, last time in August, 2021 (and I stayed on the campsite next to yours). It's a nice park, close to Toronto, has a number of easy trails and some campsites offer a lot of privacy and very nice views. I might visit this park this year again, but at this moment most parks are 100% full over weekends.

We really enjoyed our stay there. Unfortunately it rained most of our time there so we didn't get to go on any hikes. We were impressed with the dog beach. Most parks that section of the beach is not very nice for people.
If we didn't have a trailer we would love to camp on the hike in sites, especially the ones up on top of the rocks on the hill
      Thank you for your input

It is a VERY nice park. We really enjoyed our stay. Like we stated in the video, the only downside is highway 400 being so close
