It's great. With Norfolk on one side and Portsmouth on the other. You have big city + quaint town. There's a great Mexican food in Portsmouth plus a good coffee shop and biergarten. So a week is easy here. I've stayed here a month back in November 2021.
Hospital Point is a great anchorage, right next to Tidewater Marina and across from Waterside. I recommend Hampton town docks as well if you want that in-the city feel, although there is the noise from the adjacent parking garage.
Nice sail. Thanks for taking me along. I have an S2 9.2 with a Yanmar 2gm. It's been overheating. I'm going to check the impeller, but what else should I check? You don't have to answer if you're busy, so I'm just throwing it out there. I'm on Lake Palestine in Texas and only been sailing for about 4 years. And I love yalls channel.
Thx for watching! Check for good water flow, the intake is clear of debris or growth, the water strainer is clean...you can undo each section/junction of raw water hose, and it should gush out. Impeller, first tho. Always check the easiest solution first, lol believe me 😉
I know 🥲 We've been getting ready for a haulout and next steps in cruising -- essentially, working a LOT to save up some cash. Hopefully, we'll have a video out today!
I cam see it...thw mix of water amd coty life. Makes sense. 👍🙌
It's a good mix!
Loved the look at Norfolk!!
Thanks - It's definitely one of our faves.
We must've missed you. We have been in Jackson Creek since December. Great area!

We plan on coming back in a few weeks for boat work. Still there? What's your boat name?
@@TheFosterJourney did you guys pull into the D dock today?
a Mall?? thought those were a thing of the past lol; Enjoy the city and good luck fixing that line,
Yep, it's pretty quite there.
Seems like a great place to visit! How long would you typically stay there?

For a change it would be nice to do a video from Olivia’s point of view of what’s it like living on a sail boat with the foster family
Heck yeah, that's a great idea. She's shared often at our Captain's Hour, a monthly Zoom call

Where are you? Haven’t seen you in about 10 days or so.
