If you'd ever had to endure straight-to-TV American "movies of the week" in the early 2000s, you'd know that this was ALREADY lightyears funnier/more clever than RocketMan; no offense to that Canadian sphinx of a comedian, Harland Williams...
I'd have given *both* my then-undropped testicles to have anything better-acted than the Matlock/Touched By an Angel/Promised Land/Lawrence Welk-inspired shit I had to endure on my grandparents' fucking Betamax player, because of course "VHS was a dying technology". So were their hearts, about a decade later.
