*We liked it **Fastly.Cool** so much in the basement, we bought a second one for the main level. The amount of moisture it pulls out of the air is astonishing.*

I have 2 portable air conditioners and I wanted to use their dry mode but the LG I could not find a hose that fit to drain. And the Fridgidaire the hose fits perfect but it did not lower humidity at all and there was no water that drained.

Does the gravity drain hose work if you run it up into a stationary sink?

I have this unit and I am happy with its function as a dehumidifier, however the directions for use are extremely lacking. For example the directions for the timer are incomplete and don’t make sense. I recommend that they include a section for continuous on/off timer function. It might explain better that the unit can sustain itself if the drain hose is hooked up.

      Hey Billiard,
Thinking of getting this for my bedroom
And wonder what your real usage thoughts are as far as
      • continuous drainage
      • wifi and app connection
      • moisture setting automatic shut off and on etc
      •ease of use
      Thank you so much

The hose drain on ours stopped working after 1yr.
Yes we flushed the hose and cleaned the outlet too.

We have a code "CL" showing at the display. What does CL mean? CL is not in the manual.

Our Honeywell de-humidifier is only a year old and quit working. Where /what do you do to take advantage of the warranty??

I just went through what the warranty does and does not cover on the Keystone dehumidifier. They may SAY the sealed unit is cover for 5 years, BUT, getting them to honor that when the system loses its refrigerant is terrible. They'll claim it only has a 1 year warranty and won't budge!!! (see 3:38 on the video).

I bought a refurbished 50 pint unit and after a year the humidity sensor stopped working. I had thought at the time of buying that if any part stopped working, I could replace it. I have not been able to get the part and it appears that honeywell is not well known for service on small appliances. With a 5 year warranty, maybe they think parts are not a priority. So I'd say don't buy a refurbished unit model Tp50wkn

It's a 50 pint unit according to the latest DOE standards. See this video for more information: th-cam.com/video/MoYZk2KRL6I/w-d-xo.html

TP70 is 50 pint and TP50 is what? 30 pint? Amazon & Honeywell says the TP70 is 70 pint.

Scott T ....under the old Dept of Energy standards it is a 70 pint. They just changed the standards so the new ones will be the exact same machine but listed as a 50 instead of 70. Nothing changed other than the way they tested them.

Why is he talking about a 50 pt unit and everything else says 70 pts?

    • @consumer-analysis
      @consumer-analysis  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Standards for specifying dehumidifier capacity have changed since this model was released. It used to be a 70 pint model but is now a 50 pint model. I explain the change in standards in this video: th-cam.com/video/MoYZk2KRL6I/w-d-xo.html

Footprint and power consumption are two things that everyone should consider. You didn't cover that.
When you call it "average," you don't mention the "top-rated units" by name. What a waste of time.
