- 12 of us took an ADV bike ride into Die Hel, Gamkaskloof. In on the Saturday and out on the Sunday. Definitely add this to your bucket list if you haven’t done it yet. It’s worth staying more than just one night to enjoy the tranquillity.

My husband and I are going to do this after talking about it for years. He is playing golf at Fancourt and I am flying down from JHB to join him in March, from there we heading to Die Hel for a night and then to Prince Albert for a day or so on our way back home. Looking soooo forward, have you done Sani? We have and the descend was insane!!
Brilliant! Wishing you an enjoyable and safe trip. Yes, I found Sani easier ascending than descending. I've also done it both ways on an MTB -- the descending is obviously much easier than the uphill. Either way, I definitely prefer the ADV bike! ;-)
