I tell you, I'm estatic about this young man you just interviewed. The one you asked about how his family (mom) feels about him being in the army; the one who spoke about his failing health at one point of his life. I think he's one of the best heroes of this world!! I love what he said his father told him, and the reasons he said he (also his team) are defending their country, Russia. I had to share it with my family, especially for my nephews and all the young men in my community in my country to hear it. I'm in love with this young man!! He's truly the best inspiration 💖 💗 💓 ❤️
I was also impressed by the quiet modest dignity of the young commander. The Russian soldiers in general appear to not harbour hate in their hearts. The just have a quiet determination to do what they must, and do it well. I have seen a few videos of Russian soldiers and I always get the same impression, which includes a sense of companionship and solidarity. In complete contrast to the Western Ukrainians who often display their venom and hate for Russians, and in fact anyone who challenges their project and ideology. “he who hates, is already defeated”. Confucius. It is hard not to admire the Russians, I am often moved by them and upset when they die. May they end this as quickly as they want it to. A great leader leads a great country. I am ashamed of the west, of the EU currently committing economic suicide hijacked by the neocons’ useful idiots. On the other hand, Zelensky was an idiot to believe a word coming out of Boris Johnson’s mouth. The CNN reporter is 400 miles behind the lines, hiding in ditches to enhance the drama of his reports. Patrick stands near an actively firing tank on the front lines and it's just another normal day for him. As a competition, Patrick is crossing the finish line and CNN is milling around the starting gate with a bewildered look on it's face.

Patrick’s interviews are so raw, you can tell no script is being followed, no agenda is pushed onto the interviewees. As the commander talks about the tank he remembers more and more things.

Most of the wheat coming from Ukraine paid and subsidize by EU. that might crate conflict with local farmers. my guess is Russia will never sleep until destroy Poland . good luck to every one.

Patrick, am I wrong to be reminded of some of your videos from a year+ ago with the Lugansk/Donetsk militia fighting on the front line. The guys were brave, not much organized, not much equipment, improvising war, excitable, alert. Contrast those militia guys with these military guys today, a year later. Recycling tanks, warehouses stacked full of shells, body armor, camo. But still not full integrated, nonetheless included (vaguely) in Russian Army frontline action. The individuals seemed changed , however. Weary, determined, stoic, unsmiling, dissociated, serious. It's a tough war.
Why do they have to recycle tanks why is the Russian command not providing them with modern tanks? Some armor and helmets seem to be the only improvement over the militia days.
@@sabinereynaudsf recycle as in they strip the tank parts for maintenance before sending back for service just like a car. Plus it safe time in building a new tank. It much easier to modify than rebuilding from scratch. Russian niche in working with their tank models. Plus every equipment works. Modern thank just have much better engine and protection. Everything with technologies can be add with a little bit of work all the any tank below the t70 series will not have auto stabilisation

You my friend are a very interesting cat. I LOVE your reporting. I respect the bravery on both sides of this regional conflict. What a difference a year makes in understanding this Slavic region. Here in the US we were lied to at the beginning of this war and continue to be lied to about this war and it's origins. Starting with the Minsk Accords, 2014 US backed election coup wherein Elensky was installed and 2015 shelling begins on Donbass by Azov Nazis and last for approx 9 years killing 14,000+ ethnic Russians. We hear no talk of a cease fire or peace from the US or the west. A pox on the military industrial complex and their money grift. These are folks with black hearts. Truly evil carbon units. Patrick youre a Legend. I would like to be like you and do the things you do. In Fact, I'm from Serbia and i could travel easily to Russia now. But i don't know how to do something like that what you do. The Guts i got for sure, but not the knowledge. Getting the right equipment, the right connection with the state institutions and so on... Im doing a Job i dont like, and the stuff you do is just a dream of me since in in middle school.
Just do it. Sounds easier than it is, but make it a hobby. Get a part time job with the local paper, carry a camera and interview people, write stories for Substack. Don't expect to get paid much right away, or get much notice. But if you love it, it's not work, and eventually, you will get better, and could make it a career. That's how I started writing software, 30 years ago. Now I'm a full time software developer, make a decent living, truly love my job and don't feel like I've worked a single day in 20 years. It's not always easy, but it's always fun, and I still can't believe people pay me to do it.

Patrick, am I wrong to be reminded of some of your videos from a year+ ago with the Lugansk/Donetsk militia fighting on the front line. The guys were brave, not much organized, not much equipment, improvising war, excitable, alert.
Contrast those militia guys with these military guys today, a year later. Recycling tanks, warehouses stacked full of shells, body armor, camo. But still not full integrated, nonetheless included (vaguely) in Russian Army frontline action. The individuals seemed changed , however. Weary, determined, stoic, unsmiling, dissociated, serious.
It's a tough war.
Why do they have to recycle tanks why is the Russian command not providing them with modern tanks? Some armor and helmets seem to be the only improvement over the militia days.
@@sabinereynaudsf recycle as in they strip the tank parts for maintenance before sending back for service just like a car. Plus it safe time in building a new tank. It much easier to modify than rebuilding from scratch. Russian niche in working with their tank models.
Plus every equipment works. Modern thank just have much better engine and protection. Everything with technologies can be add with a little bit of work all the any tank below the t70 series will not have auto stabilisation

I would like to be like you and do the things you do.
In Fact, I'm from Serbia and i could travel easily to Russia now.
But i don't know how to do something like that what you do. The Guts i got for sure, but not the knowledge.
Getting the right equipment, the right connection with the state institutions and so on...
Im doing a Job i dont like, and the stuff you do is just a dream of me since in in middle school.
Just do it. Sounds easier than it is, but make it a hobby. Get a part time job with the local paper, carry a camera and interview people, write stories for Substack. Don't expect to get paid much right away, or get much notice. But if you love it, it's not work, and eventually, you will get better, and could make it a career.
That's how I started writing software, 30 years ago. Now I'm a full time software developer, make a decent living, truly love my job and don't feel like I've worked a single day in 20 years. It's not always easy, but it's always fun, and I still can't believe people pay me to do it.
