I had to call upon this nugget as we prepare for the first meaningful snow of the season. Such a charmed performance. Elaine's cymbal falls to the ground in perfect time to the beat. Beautiful.
I wish I had seen Trip Shakespeare more than that one time they played on my college campus in 1991. I've remembered them and listened to their albums ever since.
I'm living a snow day today. 8 inches cover Wisconsin's Door Peninsula. Splendid!....if you're where you need to be. And a nightmare if you're not. And why is this the first time I've bothered to check for anything Trip related on the fricken' TH-cam! She'sus. Thank you, Trip Shakespeare
This was so amazing!!! I think a lot of those people didn't realize Snow Days was a Trip Shakespeare song...do you??? I loved Chan out there too!!! I had tears, just as I do now reliving it. Thanks AncientPagoda!!!
IIRC, at the concert they said she flew in from Boston, where she was living at the time, for this concert. (I saw this live as part of The New Standards Xmas show. It was only done once.)

I remember listening to this during the great Halloween snow storm back in the 90's in Saint Louis Park MN ❤❤
Greatest band of all time. I don't care what anybody says!
and with that comment you mean Trip Shakespeare right? If so I agree. Pixies are tied for #1.
Kyle Hansen Damn! Just seeing your comment now. I have a feeling we would get along well. Trip and The Pixies are probably my 2 favorite bands. Wow!
That's how it works.
Greatest since William and The King's Men - anywho.

That thread got me thinking about Trip Shakespeare ALL WEEK!
OMG
Semisonic would have been so much more interesting with Elaine on drums.
What is Elaine doing now? Everyone else is still in the game, but she kinda vanished.
