You don't need to but it's good practice and puts less strain on the gearbox. Plus I'm not going for every tenth I'm only there to have fun and I'd rather not have to deal with a damaged gearbox
It most definitely is not a sequential gearbox. It's a constant mesh gearbox. If shifting out of the power band then you probably won't damage it but power shifting definitely will. It doesn't cut the ignition when shifting like the GP bikes

@@CrosserKid it’s a sequential gearbox that’s how there designed to shift without clutch so it’s not damaging it at all
