I live in Pennsylvania. 4 years ago, i met a boy from Oklahoma on myspace. We finally got to meet for the first time on February 15, 2013. We've been officially together since 1/19/13.

It really is adorable. Too bad you guys broke up. But tbh, 4 years is really damn long.. o_o Like, if you mean that you were actually dating for 4 years and that you made plans to visit each other during that time, then that must have been a hell of a lot of time, and I don't know what went up behind it. But I think Long-distance relationships are a huge commitment and can hurt a lot if they break up, because there's no better gift than giving someone all your time and attention even if it's over the internet.

Well, first thing is first, it has to be someone who is mature and knows where they are headed. Long Distance Relationships take a lot of trust. So, it's a big risk, that and it's hard at times where you really want to be with the person, but distance still marks the issue. All in all you should really get to know the person, as much as possible before making anything serious. Otherwise it's quite a let down, and the time you spent feels wasted.
