One thing I like to do to help with picking and accenting certain beats is to start with triplets, three notes per string, with a sweep picking pattern (e.g. starting on low E, down, up down, down (to A) up down, down (do D) etc...) But, then change from triplets to 4/4, but maintain three notes per string and the same sweep pattern. So, with triplets, you are accenting on the first down of each down,up,down pattern. But, with 4/4, and accenting on beat 1, you are accenting on the following capitalized strokes, so the accents are shifting between strokes and strings: DOWN, up, down E string down, UP, down A string down, up, DOWN D string down, up, down G string DOWN, up, down B string down, UP, down E string etc... Of course, you can imagine many variations e.g.: - 5/4 with three notes per string - up, down, up pattern from high E to low E in 4/4 - 3/4 with two notes per string - etc
I look at as many practice programs as guitarist present. Some I have liked and many I have not liked. Yours is very intriguing to me. I will be giving it a try. Many thanks for taking the time to present your ideas and things you do in your playing.
Great tips! I usually do backwards cycle of 5th arpeggios (C Am F Dm Bb Gm...) and 'spider' and then get into playing some tunes very slowly, but this is another level. Thanks Sivan for sharing!
Very nice thank you I still try to figure out the 100salad exercise from the 135 Video where u switch in the circle of fourths in the middle from open strings to fret 5... Its very hard for me as a beginning intermediate player to figure out where the changes happen and what the idea behind this is. But u really want to do this and understand what happens there.. Is there any possibility to get a bit more details about this? Or is there maybe a good video about this on your patreon? I would love to become a patreon but im not sure if i am ready for it
How do you warm up?
Other teachers: Before you play guitar, make sure to warm up your fingers. ☝️🤓
Rotem: Before you play guitar, make sure to warm up your heart. 💞😎

So proud to support you on PATREON ! You are really helping me in the practice room !
היי רותם תודה רבה! אחלה סרטונים, בזכותך אני לא מפסיק להוציא שירים מה real book
Every 2-3 months I develop a solo line and try in the morning to make it better with all variations that come to my mind. That takes 15-20 minutes.
Very nice thank you

I don’t warm up, just get some blood flowing to my hands and play. Poorly.
