This is what I want to know more about. Dr. Greger hasn't addressed the issue of caffeine as far as I know, but I know Esselstyn recommends against caffeinated coffee but is ok with decaf because the cafestol oils are only damaging to the endothelium when 'activated' by the caffeine? Or something like that. After watching Dr. G's video a few months ago about coffee and LDL, I decided to just give it up. Until there's more definitive information on this stuff, I figure it's not worth playing around with, especially for someone like myself who already has heart disease...

Apparently those 8 cups were probably good for you, health benefits of coffee have no cap until you start getting other problems, like stomach or nerve upset.

Well, even though I tried to not drink any more coffee after 4pm, I ended up self-medicating with sedatives to get myself to sleep before midnight, since I quit the coffee I sleep like a baby even without medication.

Common sense test doesn’t pass with this video. There is no way just because you drink dark roast vs. light roast that a fat person would lose more weight. Dunkin Donuts is licking their chops now from all new fat customers searching for their cure. And of course they will ask for a couple donuts on the side.

I went carnivore and could quit everything, including sugar, but not coffee. I love the dark mother so much that the shame of betraying my diet is not enough to make me stop consuming it. I used to love making extra cream coffee ice cream before I stopped eating ice cream. Now some coffee in some hot water is the only culinary indulgence I have left.

Off topic: You cherry pick by only focusing on the benefits of plant based diets but deliberately ignore any benefits of animal products. It's no surprise considering nutrition facts used to be called the Vegan Research Institute. You're guilty of the very thing you criticise and nutrition facts is ironically named as it doesn't really present the complete facts about nutrition.

"Hey this food is absolutely terrible for health but here's one stupid reason for why it's good so you should keep consuming it! instead of getting it from something else that doesn't have any negatives!" This is Michael Ramons logic...

Keto fast can be good, especially for some people
Besides that, Nutrition Facts have videos on why wild meat can be better, but with seafood it's probably a lost cause

Better doesn't mean good enough. Keto is good sure, for epileptics, which is what it was originally designed for. Or if you're a bodybuilder that's close to a show, to get rid of water weight.
Why else would anyone benefit from keto?
