- Hi everyone, welcome back to dulce home!
This summer we took the kids to Sesame Place Philadelphia, We had a great day exploring the park and making memories as a family, Thank you Sesame place for our complimentary visit.
The thing I like most about sesame place is how it caters to toddlers and preschoolers, the rides, the shows and even the bathrooms are perfectly designed for that age group. This video is full of tips for your next visit to sesame place in Philadelphia.
You’ll want to download the Sesame Place App. It has a lot of the same great information as the website, but also includes all showtimes and character meet-up’s for the day(s) that you’re at the park.
Sesame place is one of the few parks that allow you to bring a cooler, so take advantage of that and bring your own drinks, snacks or meals to save some money.
Bring (or rent!) a stroller. There is going to be lots of walking, waiting, and stuff you’re packing. So make sure you have an appropriate stroller for your crew to limit the whining or to offer a nap time to anyone who may need it.
We also got a locker to store some of our stuff. You can rent lockers for $35 (regular size) or $40 (jumbo size) per day. we found it to make sense to store our towels and clothes for the water rides.
Plan to see the Neighborhood Street Party Parade: Its Every day from about 3PM - 3:30PM, the characters march down the street in a parade. It was high energy and lots of fun to watch all of the kids watching the parade. We got the the main street about 15 minutes before to get a good spot.
I would day do the dry rides first and then the water rides starting in the late afternoon. You will find most lines are shorter that way.
Do one of the character dining options. This way you get a meal and all your photo with the characters in just 60-90 minutes. Plus if you go in the summer is a nice break from the heat, trust me! It’s also a lot of fun for the kids and you get to sit for a while. Plus they have family restrooms in there.
Visiting a park can be very overwhelming for little ones, Sesame place recognizes this and there places or quiet rooms through out the park to take a break from the noises or get away.
