Amen this podcast came at just the right time. I’ve felt that God has been trying to push me out of isolation but the enemy keeps convincing me that I’ll lose my intimacy with God. Recently God brought my sister (who lives out of state) into my life for us to be together for a little bit.. She’s been a born again believer for 2 years longer than me and both of us together grew so so much more in our faith and fire for God then we did alone. Well , since she’s moved back, I’ve been alone again. I have felt a tugging and urging on my heart to join church but keep making excuses though the desire is there. I have a Bible study group I saw at my church that I can attend and I’m going to join now with even more confidence after watching this. Community with other believers is exactly what we need as fuel , amen❤ thank you for explaining it better so I can destroy the lies of the enemy.
Great podcast full of wisdom and conviction! I loved Chrissy's comments about leaning into the sufferings of Jesus when experiencing hurt and rejection. Many times I take on childhood ways of dealing with confrontation and become a submissive self-pitying victim. When my eyes are redirected toward Jesus I experience enormous gratitude for his sacrifice and become more like him. "I want to know Christ--yes, to know the power of his resurrection, and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death." Philippians 3:10
Hi Pastor Justin !!! Love your podcast ! Speaking of community, we really need a Vox faith community in Wolcott/Waterbury or Southington/ Cheshire🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Congrats on the new Hartford location and the new Manchester ct location. Your dream is happening. I still can't believe it. Sadly because of my mom's condition and my disabilities I don't have community. I tried to join a online community group, through vox they never got back to me.
"When community is a means of exposing my junk so I can become like Christ, then it actually sits in its proper place!" 🔥

Hi pastor Justin, it's tab.

Difficult for me to grasp. Every time I search for community all I get is excuses.
What type of excuses?
