Wow! Very cool. I never knew that compressed air started these engines. My grandfather worked on the railroad and would let me hit the strat button on the engines when they were ready. Anyway very informative
Was fun watching you go through the procedure but without explaining what’s going on it’s kinda useless. I know the audio is horrible in there even without anything running. Perhaps a mike on your shirt might help. Thanks
I advise to put the ME covers on the HP fuel pumps back, if you have a leaky HP pipe it may start a fire in the engine room when it sprays on a hot surface.
just to be clear, i said "should" as in i am totally interested in what you are doing but have no idea and would love to know more..I love that the noises are in the video too and cant wait to know more :)
@@ZelosZelo Thank you for your thoughtful comment! You’re absolutely right-most people probably have no idea what I’m doing right now. I’ll make sure to keep the ambient sounds intact and try to make it easier to understand! Thank you so much☺️
Yes…that would make this perfect. Consider some additional lighting in the areas where the ambient light is insufficient as well. 👍 Your engine room is spotless! As it should be. You should be very proud!
What a beautiful engine room. Cleaner than most people's home.
Should be like that. Easy to take care of any leakages 😊
You are so right to wear ear protection. Very nice engine room !
Outstanding video. What a beautifully clean engine room. It's a credit to you
Thanks😄
Thank-you. You know your machinery and look after it very well. That's to your credit.
Thank you for the kind comment! But I’m still a junior engineer with much to learn, haha.
very methodical, lovely diesel sounds.

Yes, that’s right. These engines do start with compressed air. It’s wonderful that your grandfather worked on the railroad!
Thank you a very refreshing video. I enjoyed this
Great Video. will be watching out for more . Cheers from Australia
Thanks so much from Australia! I’ll keep posting bit by bit. Stay tuned!
that was really interesting to look at
Very cool.
Very interesting, thank you.
Saludos cordiales amigo Maquinista buen video buena explicación como encender los generadores y la máquina principal
Sauce brothers tow boats coos Bay Oregon..
You could eat off of the engines on their boats , they looked brand new but built back in the day 👍
Written as you go explanation will help if you do another . But that was an informative video.
I really appreciate the nice advice! Thank you🥹
You got a sub and I hope you success in your journey
Thank you so much!!!
My wife has a compulsion to push buttons, I’d never take her in there.
wow just a single inline 6 yanmar powers that..very cool
Great video. Were there two gen sets? I saw you start one, then it looked like you started another and split the load.
Thank you for noticing! Yes, we are operating two generators and running them in parallel.

Thank you for the great advice! A mic on my shirt sounds like a great idea. Thanks!!

Thank you! I’ll discuss it with the engineers and give it a try!
The smart ones are the engineers who designed it all. They never seem to get the credit they deserve…
That exactly right!
you should overlay with text what you are doing, maybe even get into it a little and tell us the reason you did/doing what you did?
Thank you for your comment! I’ll work on upgrading my videos by adding subtitles and providing explanations!✨😁

I totally agree. Keep the background noise of all the engines going. Too many people overlay it with crappy music
wow many steps to start the engine, any misstep could destroy the engine. good job.
Thanks😂
He’s done that before 🙂
very nice
What are the mains?
The term ‘main’ refers to the ship’s main engines.
@@rjomasahirofoundationexports57 who manufactured them ?
Not exactly like, “PUSH THE BIG RED BUTTON,” is it?
What happened to the lights?
I started the generator and engaged the ACB breaker!🫡
Is it classified? Too dark, can’t see half of it!
I'm so sorry!
No need to panic! Just remember on the next one!
Beter light, and explanations what you are doing would be beter to understand.
I really appreciate the nice advice! Thank you🥰
😂 motor to start a biggg motor
Why do I hear water sloching around
Water?🤔
It's the waves outside the ship slapping against the hull 👍
It's a boat!
