Peace and Reconciliation ( Peace Building )

Peace and Reconciliation answers to the call of peace, justice,
sustainable development and well-being of all sections of people,
especially the most vulnerable, marginalised communities and victims of
conflicts. The programme not only works towards promoting trust and
appreciation for other cultures and faiths but also establishes
collaborative and peaceful coexistence in society.
Recognising youth and community as agents of
change, the programme is currently reaching
out to more than 50,000 people with
leadership skills as well as awareness
generation and capacity building on peace
processes. The programme promotes
local, national and international
partnerships, including research and actively
engages with government. Pax Lumina, a
periodical is a unique contribution. Jesuit
Refugee Service(JRS) works in conflict-ridden areas
establishing peace at various levels.
