I totally understand. Good choice. Years ago I grew out my pixie hairstyle. I’m about to cut off the relaxed. I went back you texlax then relaxing last year. I’m about to cut the relaxer off. A hairstyle damaged my hair and hair follicles. She did a sew in , she braided my hair too tight. Now , I have traction alopecia, on both sides of my head. I have to wait for my follicles to get healthy again , and for my hair to grow back. Adding a chemical will damage my hair follicles. I have three month relaxer new growth. I will not put chemicals on my hair for 3 to 6 months. I’ve have been traumatized by the damage she has done. I think I will eventually cut the relaxer out of my hair and start all over. Thanks for sharing the details.
