I'm not entirely sure if this is the exact same muffler PPE did use in their previously produced dual exit cat back system. I know this exhaust muffler is originally designed for camaro/firebird applications. Since I was not the builder on the exhaust, I do not have the part number for the muffler. One thing I will point out from personal experience, many dual out systems people mention the exit on the left side tends to have the greatest exit flow on; however, I found that the opposite side tends to flow the most exhaust out of it. This leads me to believe that quite possibly the exhaust muffler was redesigned between the time this setup was made and the PPE system was made.
@@burganb323 Hi Thank you for your Time, I have contacted PPE directly and they told me that they use The Camaro/Firebird muffler Part number 14266 for polished or same one is 12266 for satin finish which is about 60 Euro Cheaper and available in Europe. Can you tell me please, is the muffler louder than stock/The video doesn't really show? and performance wise did you feel anything ? Asking because I want to buy the muffler alone and weld it up myself, I want to create my own Custom Cat-back :) and I Might also add in a De-cat downpipe for Track use* :) Thanks Again ! Have you had any problems with your car? I was thinking of getting one, but I heard that these cars require lots of maintenance. How has your car been?
I've had the car for almost 5 years now and I haven't had much of any problems that I couldn't easily handle myself. I sold my truck to buy this and would do it again in a heart beat. I know quite a few owners that literally all they do is standard tune ups and change oil at 5000 mile intervals and their cars are still running strong. You should hop on over to www.spyderchat.com/forum if you wish to join a forum full of MR2 Spyder owners. Everyone will be straight forward with you and you can even find cars on there for sale by owners on the site.
damn your car sounds exactly like mine
