I tried to change mine and gave up after a string and took it to the local music store and they did it for free😂
I don't like to distract from Elise's channel but, Katie at One Music School has a Great tutorial on changing your strings. I truly don't mean to offend Elise, but this is Vital information.

Honestly same, man. I've tried to restring mine like 5 times and messed up all 5 times, I've been meaning to go to the music store to get it stringed. It's been months

I rush things too much and dont care because this is TH-cam. Barely anyone does proper grammar and punctuation and all of that stuff.

Whenever they start sounding dull is a good indication to change them!:) other times you may find the uke is going out of tune a lot more than usual and that can be a sign as well!

Hi Elise! Today's one of the best days of my life, because my birthday's in two weeks and I finally convinced my Minto buy me a uke! I ordered mine on Amazon and it's coming next Monday, and I honestly cannot wait, you're one of the main reasons I even wanted the uke in the first place (other than Dodie). I can't wait to actually use all your tutorials instead of aimlessly watching them as I did in the past!
