Oh so the thing with the double jump is that Zylus dismounted the invisible armor stand that was controlling his motion from the Thundergun blast (motion can't be applied directly to players). He was close enough to the ground to not die, though he did still take some fall damage. Double jump isn't a thing at the moment, I promise I didn't give him 2 overpowered abilities lol
@@gormster No you can't, there's zero control of knockback and you can't force an entity to hit the player, certainly not quick enough for a blast. The closest could be *maybe* an arrow with a certain amount of punch?

Like if I got this to work I don't think I'd be able to do much y motion, if any Supposedly player motion may be something we'll be able to directly modify in a future update, kinda just waiting on that at this point

I'm surprised people are saying this about Rythian rather than Duncan - I know Rythian has a reputation of being kinda salty, but Duncan is often just as bad, or worse, and this episode was no exception. Besides - according to the map maker's own comments, they ALL have some sort of a special easter egg. However, some of them depend on using certain items, which definitely messes with the balance. Imo, they should either all spawn with their special item, or all have a special shop item that they can buy regardless of their role. Zylus's frog is a bit OP, but is sort of balanced out by Lewis being able to cast suspicion on him.

As the red matter bomb was originally from Minecraft anyway, they should change the mechanics, so the players have to place the bomb down like a block and right click to activate (like it originally was in the Minecraft mod) rather than throw it.
I think it is so funny that the Red Matter Bomb was adapted into source engine for TTT as a reference, and then was adapted BACK into Minecraft, in a completely different form from its original.
Lewis' excitement at that poon at the end was infectious. He was absolutely chuffed, as they say across the pond. Also petition to given everyone frog form to make it fair, except Rythian to make it unfair :D

the yogscast have taken over my life recently, with the main channel variety, jaffa factory 2 and tom n big lyd's silent hill 2 playthrough on his members channel
for many years in the halls of yogtowers, stories will be told. that poon was legendary. Duncan, a literal clown, the fool. Lewis, the master. the artisan.
Zylus, can confirm, am English, would love to be Dutch. Hoping to move to the Netherlands eventually if I can find a job or my twitch channel takes off enough!
Couldn't see for sure, but my guess is that the "double jump" in this was coded for simply one jump at any time until you touch the ground instead of just one jump while in the air. Sort of like you have one jump counter that doesn't refresh again until you touch the ground. So if you haven't jumped, you could save yourself with the banked jump, but if you started off with a jump you'd be at zero until you touched down (splat).
For such a big map you definitely want more mobility (which would be good anyway). Prob more speed when sprinting and double jump for sure. Otherwise it's just gonna be sniper battle which... isn't super entertaining

Could you not have an invisible entity deal knock back damage to the player?

i just realized that the ammo boxes aren't auto pickup, they can now attribute not having ammo to actually not having ammo instead of not reloading
