brilliantly focused tips and tricks here. LFO, sample&hold set to 'Hold' is a favourite of mine too. Inspired to get something setup and switch out the sample source for surprise, thank you!
Chao! Thank you very much for your work! The video helped me understand how to work differently with samples on the octatrack. Incredibly fun and creative method! You are awesome!
Love the last two iterations of it. First Blade Runnerish one and then the last that seems to came straight from "Event Horizon" movie. Great stuff as usual and one more video that makes me think to never ever sell the Octatrack. It's just so straightforward and fun to mangle pristine audio into some weirdness that you can spend a whole life with just it and some random samples.
Even though I am fairly new to it myself, I can say that the Octatrack is singular in the world of sampling and processing. The sequencer is what sets Elektron apart. Akai makes some stuff and so does Boss/Roland. Go with the one that calls out to you, then work with it, read the manual and online posts.
I've also found it helpful to hang around the shops where the sell this stuff on a Saturday morning -- that way you may meet people who will assist and inspire you to persist!
Nice - Kate is Kate at any speed, in any direction! :). Thanks for the inspiration!
So true!
This is the most insightful octatrack video I have seen so far. Awesome! 👌
Wow, thanks!
Your approach to technology is so creative! Bravo!
Thank you! Cheers!
I tried this approach on the digitakt, works like a charm, thanks for this one

mai vendere, solo comprare!!!! :D
@@OoraMusic maledetti Synthfluencers! 😂❤️
couldnt agree more, you'll have to pry it out of my cold dead hands
The bass at 24:00 was great, but how much did the OT and how much the Oto?
I see the octa and oto as a single thing at this point. I really thing that octa needs something to push the sound, oto is the best thing so far.
@@OoraMusic And perhaps the Analog Heat?
Awesome! are you using the Model1 mixer for the reverb?
thanks
Thank for the video. I like your workflow and how you using gear to produce less predicted sounds. Is there any alternatives to octatrack?
Did not find anything yet!
