This is literally the only song I don't like on The Sound and the Fury, can't believe it's the second single. Feels like a bit of a bandwagon-jumping with the whole trans trend at the moment, but I guess if it brings Nerina to a wider audience it's cool. I'd like to see "Boy on the Bus" of "Big White House" or "Ain't Got Anything Left" released though, they're Fires-standard Nerina to me.

I truly hate this song. It is the only song of Nerina's that I do hate. It's the fast forward button every time I'm afraid. I was praying it would not make it to the album, but alas it did. It's also my least favourite album. I feel Nerina has lost her uniqueness in this new style. Sorry Nerina, I still love you really.

How very dare you! Firstly I would like to point out that you are the sexist here. You naturally assumed that I am a man! Phil can be short for quite a few girls names. Also, since when has it been mandatory to like a song because of what it stands for? We are not in a dictatorship here. To me the song sounds like a poor mans version of Sisters are doing it for themselves. It is brash and annoying.
philquine Sexist how? Am I degrading an important message you stand for because of your gender? Is disliking a song REALLY an important message, moreso than the message the song sends? I'm pointing out that the song isn't for a man's benefit, it's an empowering message for women (there are far too few for woman and plenty for men)- she worries about young girls in society who are questioned on the validity of rape and sexual assualt, and how if we want true equality we're going to have to shout loud and clear and not let a man tell us we're being too noisy. Sisters ISN'T about any of that, it's about not relying on a man. Different message.

You are a sexist. You assume a woman is not capable of deciding she doesn't like this song. It's nothing to do with the meaning of the song, it is how it has been produced. I am sure Nerina could make ,The wheels on the bus' sound meaningful (If you are reading this Nerina I would love you to rise to the challenge), but she chose to make it bloody annoying. Music is all about how it makes you feel and this song does my noggin in. What YOU are saying is that you would buy it even if it had been done by the Smurfs. As for you stating that my comments are unimportant, then so are all the other peoples comments saying how great Nerina is.
