Kui was my main, when I'm interested to play him on Mid it backfired bc some of the most players would disagree if I play Kui Mid and instead play him as a Roamer mainly. His skills are okay the Ult is a problem because it's so long that I have to use Stun and Frigid Charge to get my repetitive stun. 2nd to get the Ult to work is use S2 which you can constantly either miss a target or hooks you one. For short, Kui is C-B tier and I don't regret maining him.
@@syadizz He is the Franco of HoK except he is worse, but you can make him useful bit by delaying the enemy jungler's buff, hook ADC, annoy enemy from other lanes and assist, when it comes to initiating he is pretty good. But when he is running away he doesn't do much but the constant getting hit by enemy with those scary low mobility counter heroes like Diao Chan, etc. Just copy your Franco gameplay and you can experience not nearly the same.
The main problem with him is his hook animation which is very slow. Unlike grak in AoV whose hook animation is fast . I didn't enjoy playing kui like I enjoy grak from AoV . Developer's should rework the kui hook
Shurkou played grakk as a jungler and mid laner just for the heck of it. It was never doable. The issue is his grapple as it’s avoidable. You’ll have to slow your opponents down, so you’ll need that armor which slows movement speed when they hit you and the ice wand when you use the stomp and your ult. When kui is my roamed, I make sure to equip the ice wand as a mage to help him make those grapple and make his ult manageable.
Funny how you did a Kui video after Nuwa considering he also gets a rework in test server. Although unlike Nuwa's, his rework is just pure cancer and i'm glad it hasn't been released in both CN and global xD
@@youagain8447 Coming from Grakk AoV to Kui HoK, I would say he is a dumb down version of Grakk, typical Grakk would ult a whole team without using skills prior, this made him really scary and a more viable support.....His rework that allows his S1 to also control is an improvement but still nowhere like Grakk's.....He has other issues to, like I feel his hook hit box is smaller and slower than Grakk's
Me if I'm confident enough to be good using a hero in any lane, i do it in rank because i can win it and I'm not getting reported, but if I'm not using it because i will definitely get reported😅

You lose waves as Mid Lane Kui anyways so you might as well keep him as Roamer.
