It sounds both scary and sad, because the soviets wanted revenge on the german nation but it really doesn't excuse what horrible crimes they also commited to achive that. In this song there is a german woman speaking,in my opinion it's probably a german woman speaking because the game also wants us to know that the allies weren't the heroes history tells us they were, also she's asking another german soldier "Brave soldier, die with me." Probably meaning she is asking for protection.

From a time where war games were gritty, dark, and insightful to the horrors of war. Teaching the youth by proxy what a nightmare the last great war was. I will always love this game, and pray no other war on the scale of ww2 ever happens again.
Perfectly shows how Waw was an amazing game, not picturing the war like an heroic and glorious episode but like a terrifying horror. This soundtrack gives me chills in my back, it's gloomy and so intriguing. Am I the only one that would like to know what the story is behind this voice ?
What a tune. This makes you feel like the last stand, no hope, no survival, sooner rather than later the end is nigh!! Everything about this game is just brilliant.
This Is the best war game ever done bcs It focus on the horror of the war instead of who Is black or White who Is a clown or who have the best color for his rifle

I f*cking love this game, and even when I’m 80 years old, I will still remember this masterpiece. ^sorry for going overboard but yeah^
By farthest the best call of duty of all time, the campaign took you on a bloody journey where there is no words to explain the blood and gore of the history told in this game. If anything this game taught me lots of about history which had me into the world war 2 books growing up as a kid.
The best cod made. Hands down. Please make another one as eerie and epic as this! I used to crap myself when playing multiplayer on asylum and hearing noises whilst on my own!
Remaking COD 4? Nah they need to remake THIS GAME RIGHT HERE!!!!! This WAS and WILL ALWAYS be the best COD. Now you got kids flying around the map with stupid looking camos. It's a shame what this game had to come to
I really hoped the next cod will feature a remastered version of CoD WAW. But I bet kids would be like "Meh I buy the normal version cuz Waw sucks and it's boring blah blah blah" and they would probably stuck at the first mission and just go straight to nazi zombies but they die in round 3. You're right, Call of duty needs to make a remastered version of this OR a newer World at War game but as a Britian soldier, etc.
COD will never be the same. In my opinion, Black Ops was the last game to be remembered. The Belle Époque of the franchise. Now, they killed everything good about COD. It was another time, another gen, another era. It'll never be the same as it was. Such a nostalgia. It's a shame that time flies.

@@NoCommentaryLife that would be a dream come true, just hope they won't ruin it and leave it like a masterpiece it was :) Had to go back and play through the campaign again, was a perfect trip down memory lane when times were easy and all i had to worry about was coming home on the weekend and jumping on with my brother and mates. The things id do to go back and do it all again.
My favorite track from this game, it sent chills down my back when i played Vendetta for the first time.
Thanks for the upload.
From a time where war games were gritty, dark, and insightful to the horrors of war. Teaching the youth by proxy what a nightmare the last great war was. I will always love this game, and pray no other war on the scale of ww2 ever happens again.
COD WAW and COD MW2 were the best cods ever
Mr.PeeJickez Werden Sie die Patty in mein Burger sein
All the mw and waw
King Gonzo/OG Monk I like BO1 the most
Mw3 was okay, not super futuristic year 4000 shit, modern weaponry
Exactly
So much nostalgia ❤️
When you look this up in 2024. You know you have played the best game ever. And miss the time like I do.
Perfectly shows how Waw was an amazing game, not picturing the war like an heroic and glorious episode but like a terrifying horror. This soundtrack gives me chills in my back, it's gloomy and so intriguing. Am I the only one that would like to know what the story is behind this voice ?
This song is so creepy and eerie but fucking brilliant this game should DEFINITELY be remastered ASAP!
Still great in 2015
Still great in 2016!
Still great in 2017. And probably for eternity.
Shadygoten Still Great In 2018
Jonathan Pringles this nigga from the future
DTK_Wolfy still great
i miss this type of cod games!.. bring back ww2 callofdutys
One of the last good cod games... I miss the ww2 era of war games...
Dragon-wolf Channel it will be cool if they do ww1 (and not saying battlefield 1)
yea that would be cool, but problem with that is i don't want everyone doing ww1
The darkest and the most horror brought out of a video game that gives me chills today and no game will ever match it.
I miss the dark and gritty themes of WaW and Black Ops 1. These games really grasped the true horrors of war well.
still gives me shivers as an adult
What a tune. This makes you feel like the last stand, no hope, no survival, sooner rather than later the end is nigh!! Everything about this game is just brilliant.
OH, IT MAKES MY HAIRS STAND ON END! All my hairs…
This Is the best war game ever done bcs It focus on the horror of the war instead of who Is black or White who Is a clown or who have the best color for his rifle
The nostalgia is here, this was when COD was at it's prime. Now, we have stupid ass boost jumps shit that literally have no sense to it
y e s tis the further ur cing
When I think about everything this song represents, I almost start crying.
The song is THAT emotional... And I love it.
I just want Call of Duty in eastern front from german side...
Through German point of view? Me and a friend of mine have had several discussions on a game like that
Or British...
+Highlander in Call of Duty 2 and 3 you play as British in part of it
Joaquin Velazquez Oh you do?
+Highlander Yes, in Call of Duty 1-3 really you play as a Russian, American, and British soldier in them.
This COD should be remade without any cuts
1:48 “Now, load your rifle, but hold your fire, wait until the bombers are directly overhead. The sound of the engines will drown out your shot, ready? Shoot Now!”
When i always opened my ps3, then WaW, then this music played ahh the great memories.
finally! thank you! the only soundtrack that i've been searching for was no where to be found but now my pain is over! thank you! muahuahuhaa
This song represents pain and suffering.
One of the most incredible special and rare track here...WOW...
Theme song for the despair for the Wehrmacht when they were losing.
Lorkhanable Well deserved despair.
No
No one deserves despair. People are people, some of them didn´t know about the war crimes happening
@Димитрий Винтов You do know that the Wehrmacht wasn't the same as the Schutzstaffel(SS) do you?
@Димитрий Винтов news flash, you're people weren't too kind either bud...
I still get the chills whenever I listen to the main menu its so good
This was my 2nd game to ever get period. It for a very long time was by far my most played game, and still is in my top 3 played games (x number of hours played) ever. My xbox broke :( so I haven’t played in a while anyway, hearing this song literally gives me goosebumps and gets my heart going and my mind remembering EVERY SECOND of that damn game! I f*cking love this game, and even when I’m 80 years old, I will still remember this masterpiece. ^sorry for going overboard but yeah^
I hope they remaster it
By farthest the best call of duty of all time, the campaign took you on a bloody journey where there is no words to explain the blood and gore of the history told in this game. If anything this game taught me lots of about history which had me into the world war 2 books growing up as a kid.
Me too, I became a ww2 historian after this
The game where monsters look like you. The history lesson
this takes me back.... my fav COD i really hope this gets remastered
does anyone else get the chills listening to this song? :(
many times buddy..
You're right, Call of duty needs to make a remastered version of this OR a newer World at War game but as a Britian soldier, etc.
yup
I hope they don't mess this up.
Fuck the allied prespective, can't we get an axis prespective in cod at least once?
Running on walls is fun in bo3 dark matter
COD will never be the same. In my opinion, Black Ops was the last game to be remembered. The Belle Époque of the franchise. Now, they killed everything good about COD. It was another time, another gen, another era. It'll never be the same as it was. Such a nostalgia. It's a shame that time flies.
ll in favor of the next cod being based in World War II?
shiit if only
It would be epic to go back to the basics
***** Noope, treyarch assholes decide to make another piec of shit futuristic game..
It's happening
i hope this new one has a soviet campaign
It came to my mind suddenly!
Brave soldat: brave soldier
Stirb mit mir: die with me
Brav - good, not brave
Still gives me chills down my spine, 100% going to be playing this again!!
that is call of duty.....none of this futuristic shit can reach this
grʌm yep
This will alawys hold a place in my heart.....
coldest game in the franchise
This track is a masterpiece. It is beautiful yet sinister, and it perfectly fits with the underlying tone of war.
I played this game since I was six
"You're lucky you can still cry."
-Stalingrad (movie), 1993
this and bo1 were horror games
This is the song I've been looking for. Wow. You got the possible lyrics too. Nice.
WW2 horrific realities > Nicki Minaj operator skin
When I first got the game this song was my favorite and still is I was never scared of it I loved it I embreced it
Who else found the part at 2:20 onwards to be creepy af?
+Bader Jaamour To be honest, I found all of it creepy af...
All of it man, the whole song was bone chilling.
Best part
I remember first starting up this game and was blown by this theme and already knew what hell i was getting into and loved every bit of it.
War... war never changes...
Fallout 4 referance?
+Jack Wheeler no, pretty much fallout in general
Mr. Hotdog Shirt Guy Duty calls!
Mr. Hotdog Shirt Guy boi playing fallout rn
Or does it?
This hits me in the feels. Nostalgia and it's beautiful. Dark, yet I love it. I miss this classic.
