you can tell that they are really close whilst still being able to have a laugh & take the piss out of eachother - it’s such a perfect balance to watch onscreen
The combo works so well, because being so posh you'd expect Michael to be dignified, easily offended and distant with his son. Instead he's raunchy, loves his fame and openly adores Jack.
I love that Jack has brought his dad in more and more as his career has burgeoned. Obviously they’re very funny together. But even more than that it’s Jack saying thank you. Thank you for raising me with love and laughter, thanks for taking the piss out of me with a joke rather than yelling, thanks for being so genuinely proud of your son that you want to share in his life as much as you can.
I'm a born and bred American and you couldn't pay me to watch most American talk shows but daily I watch at least a half hour of UK chat shows on TH-cam.
I like how Michael says Jack is quiet well hung here but in the Netflix show with him, Michael says Jack's apendage is small and "looks like a shrimp" wtf 😂😂😂😂
In season 1 Jack and his dad on the train ; he had to get out of bed and turn light off then scratched his nuts in his dads face 😂😂😂😂 i think you can tell in this scene it’s not true lol
@@youlovei582 not really we do that across the pond to as a direct translate from Daidí... Daddy 🤷♀️. Don't think you could accuse the irish of being posh in general LOL.
I was never a fan of Jack and his Dad but they are hilarious I am in stitches, especially when he says how well hung he is lol. What an excellent idea of writing a book brilliant idea. Hilarious as fuck
'Could be on the discovery channel I suppose'........ how did everyone miss that? HILARIOUS 😂 Black strap on.......I could feel his fear there....... that was close to the line lol 😅
Awwwww. This is the sweetest I've ever seen them together. I used to be mad at Michael for how mean he is to Jack, however I'm growing to understand why.
Michael is hilarious... He reminds me of my Dad. Even though Michael is an Englishman and my Dad is an American southerner, my Dad is quite the gentleman, with a very dignified personality, and a hilarious, yet dry, sense of humor. We communicate very similarly to Michael and Jack.
Oh My God This is the first time ive seen jack whitehalls dad and i simultaneously love him and relate so much with him hes so posh and calm and like monotone almost but hes really funny and ahhhhhh i love him
As American this is my order of preference, Graham Norton, Alan Carr (please come back!), Jonathan Ross, and all other British interview shows...then James Corden, Conan, Kimmel, Noah, Colbert and maybe Fallon. I think the a British and Irish know how to banter and socialize. There’s an exchange or conversation. Far more superior. Plus the humor and wit is more interesting and stimulating. The delivery is far more natural. Keep up the great work.
@@luciadilazzaro2285 yes I know who Jacks parents are I was just stating that the way she speaks with Jack is so genuinely happy 😁 meanwhile Michael is real seriousness a contrast to Jack's humor and wit but also sturdiness and his mother's patience with the times lol barely understood what I just type here 😆
Okay but it’s actually so sweet that he turned and said “it’s not a joke!” Because he thought they were laughing at jack for having dyslexia
Yeah, that is sweet
I'm almost 100% certain that he said anorexic on purpose. It was an attempt at a joke.
@@leostarr9789 dude you should be a joke detective. You have a real talent for it.
He didn't think that at all. It was a tongue in cheek, straight faced continuous of his (knowingly) incorrect used of the word.
3:07 he was joking
Jack: “Is the temperature ok for you in here? He gets a bit cold in the evening”
Dad: “FUCK OFF!!”
Yeah I watched the same video
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lmao 😂
Father whitehall “He’s anorexic”
Jack: “im dyslexic”

Not even a minute in and Michael is laying down the law. Absolutely hysterical
They should do a stand up show together. The chemistry is there and they are hilarious.

Glad Jack doesn't look like a frightened chicken in this episode. He tamed the hair.
7:30 You can see Jack mouthing the book as his dad says it....
If you watch the first few episodes of the fresh prince of bel air, will smith is seen doing that :)
I'm from Mexico and I read somewhere that this show was cancelled I was really bummed out and today I see this!!!!!! I love Alan Carr!!!!!!
I don't have Netflix. Maybe I should subscribe just to see their travels. They're hilarious!
