- Freediving - More or less 50 buses lie crushed on the seabed. They were dumped between the 1970s and 1980s in Norway. Straight into the sea. So we had to explore. These video images document the conditions today many years later

It wasn't our video recordings that came on TV. But it is from the same trip. Good that the dumping practice is history now. Got a tip about this place in 2020 from a scuba diver and was surprised at how accessible they were. From 10m and below
I was watching the video thinking, “That’s a bus! It can’t be a bus!”
What a crazy place to dive - looks spooky!
It's wild. They dumped buses from land. Straight into the sea. 40-50 years ago. Fortunately just history now. But today there is talk of dumping 250 million tonnes of mine sludge in the same fjord system. Bad for the underwater ecosystem.

@@Alex_Anders absolutely! I was surprised to not see more fish? Is it too cold for them at the moment or do they not live there?
@@BR0SE1DON Most of them are deeper down. See a few here and there but not many. I saw a couple of fish around the buses but they were from 17m and below. Not long until they are everywhere now😊 Lots of fish to see where you live now?

Yes, crazy place! But Cool place to dive. This is close to the center of Førde. Best to dive there in winter to get optimal visibility.
