i got the lekato version and definatly noticed a 7db gain drop, and after doing my own EQ comparison its like 2 completely different spectrums. Still on the search for something reliable in todays heavy congested situations live. If i can give the unit anything positive, it hasn't failed me once at a gig, but i do feel as if im really having to play 3x harder to get a normal passage to sound as thick as i like.
This device had made me failed to notice the grounding issue inside my LP until I put it directly to my amp by cable. But otherwise if you are in a very heavy frequency poluted environment, this will at least mute them noise for sure.
@ they have some sort off noise cancellation system inside tht. Any humming issue will get shut off silent. In a perfect situation, i noticed my sustain gone a bit weaker using this wireless device.
Thank you for doing this video. I bought the Lekato branded WS-70s. I tried them on bass and immediately noticed loss of low end punch and thickness. I have Lekato and Nux 4.2G and 5.8G dongle wireless units. Those units sound good and I've used them for rehearsals and solo gigs. I was hoping to get a UHF band unit too, but the WS-70 was the poorest sounding of anything else I've tried. Big thumbs down for me. Thanks again for the spectrum.
I just got the WS-70+ (USB C version) and the sound quality is really bad compared to cable. The higher tones seems very muted and you lose a lot of dynamics. Very disappointed with these.
Yeah, this confirms what i heard when i bought them, i hardly ever use them cause the signal degradation sounded horrible to my ears, the dynamic is completely destroyed.
Exactly haha!! Except I got it from X2 Bubble Crab theme. I have a forever-ongoing project to cover the X2 soundtrack, but it's been stalled for over a year. I did the classic MegaMan 2 and 3 on my main channel. It's not the signal degration that's the problem with these it's the output of them is a little bit lower then a cable versus the 2.4 or the 5.8 I don't know why. But all you got to do is just turn the input up if you have something like a Helix to make up for it.. I guess if you're in the digital world it's cool cuz you can fix it. But if you have a guitar amplifier that would stink cuz you would need a boost pedal or something. But yeah I noticed it too The sound is fine it's just the signal is lower for some reason

it seems, in general, wireless devices tend to not care about grounding issues

Thank you very much @gullywoots for this comparison! Is there any other transmitter you can recommend? I need latency
haven't tried any others, sorry

The slight compression doesn't bother me. The loss of high frequencies does, at some extent.
sounds like these wireless things have really cheap buffers inside them
Hey, that arpeggio part sounds like Megaman X5 ocean ost xd, what are you really playing bro?

Thanks a lot for this video! I'll skip this purchase.
