I've seen quite a few people complaining about the hero hall, when you unlocked a new hero it would be instant and you could enjoy the hero boosts from a new TH. It's also ridiculous that Supercell wants players to wait a week or more just to start upgrading heroes. I don't think anyone likes the Hero Hall.
I appreciate you talking about the people who can’t coin like you or others. And what can be. Traditional players who spend a way less can use this as a dream movie. Ive been playing since 2014. And chasing the rainbow of gold is difficult to throw it down in 5 hrs of release.
My least favorite thing about the update, is that heros can no longer be boosted, so if you boost your troops to attack 3+ times, after the 1st 2 attacks, you will have to wait 25+ minutes for your heros to heal
Could you do an updated guide to best attack strategy for every TH. I’m th13 planning on moving up to th14 soon and since the minion prince came out I am unsure whether to focus my resources towards air or ground attacks. I just spent 1500 gems to get the magic mirror but I fear I preemptively put my resources into that instead of giant arrow for air attacks.
I think you should learn how to do air attacks like mass dragons and such, since they are amongst the strongest and easiest strategies now, and it gives you the option to swap over to a E-dag or sneaky gobbling attack without having to worry about equipments and such. As for your equipment situation. I’d say you should get the giant arrow to level 9, and then see how you feel about going on with the magic mirror. Generally thinking you won’t use the mirror together with an hair attack, since you’d focus on the use of the giant arrow. But it could be fun for future/specifik use. If it was up to me I’d say that you should get the arrow to lv 9 and then focus some on the Dark orb, giving plenty of help in a bunch of different attacks right now. Even with a light nerf it’ll still work good.

This problem may vary on your region. However, the Justice scenery, together with the Justice queen- and warden-skin offer is in the game for another, at my given moment, 5 days and 8 hours. Unfortunately you shouldn’t be counting on it getting fixed by the time limit of the offer. But you could always contact SS support to see what they can do!

I dont know how to feel about the whole ordeal of th17. It doesnt really feel like clash of clans anymore. Th16 was already pioneering new ideas with the merged defences and it was already starting to feel strange. I dont want to be negative about this update because I'm still gonna play the game but merging the eagle and the town hall was disappointing. I wasnt as excited as when they released the th14 and th15 update, it just hit different, but in a sort of bad way.

Also the designs now are not compliment to each other, there's a th15 archer tower that not upgraded to multi archer and many more. The update i am waiting for is about making war with specific townhall to prevent mismatches, so the game is not only about upgrading and if the players enjoy one townhall (example th13) and decide to not upgrade to next townhall the game will be much enjoyable. One more thing, I hope they will add something that like Wikipedia for players to keep trach on ther progress and information to events, troops and defenses.
