This really reminds me of the music from Stargate Universe. Whatever you think of the show, the music that Joel Goldsmith made for it was amazing, and in combination with the sound design and visuals, was an incredible scifi show. The show's intro, Countdown to Destiny, Light, Waiting for the End, and Gauntlet are amazing pieces of music.
