While the other version of Tortured gives a faster and more frantic feel, I love this one for its bosslike vibe. It makes you feel like you're actually fighting against some ginormous monstrosity whose size would be around that of an actual human being.
Squidward stumbled backwards as the ground erupted from beneath him. A single large sea star appendage rose from the remains of the Krusty Krab before slamming back down on the ground, the shock waves causing the sea floor to bow down before its might. "Larry!" Cried Squidward as the beast's arm crushed his newly formed ally underneath its weight. Larry grunted as he summoned all his strength to push back the creature. Yes he was doing it, he was fighting back, he was... wait... what was that? What was this feeling on his neck. And on his chest and his legs. Larry looked back only to see the millions of clawed hands gripping tightly to his body. Hands that refused to let go. "No!" Gasped Larry. Larry shrieked as the hands gripped tighter. Squidward could only watch in silence as the lobster was ripped apart. First was his leg. The disgusting sounds of his limb being mercilessly torn apart as the muscle fibres exposed themselves would forever remain scarred in Squidward's mind. The hands continued their assault. From his antennae being bent beyond their limits to his jaw snapping and cracking like bones being broken in half. The sounds of an exoskeleton being crushed and torn apart by thousands of assailants were just as loud as Larry's screams for sweet release. More and more of Larry's innards were soon exposed to hands desperately grasping for the delectable nutrients they provided. The only body part left was Larry's head and torso. Still alive. Still suffering. "Please." thought Larry, "Please just let this nightmare end!" Unfortunately the hands seemed to know what they were doing. As if they had read his thoughts, one by one as a unit they carried him to the centre as more gargantuan arms rose up from the tattered remains of the Krusty Krab. First one limb. Then two. Then...five. A beast of unimaginable terror plucked from the darkest depths of the ocean rose up to gaze down on its inferior adversary. Its outer body covered in row after row of grey armoured spines. And amongst all the hands that was a single circular jaw with five giant daggers for teeth patiently waiting for its meal. The last thing Larry saw were the awaiting jaws and an endless darkness. *Crunch* The last thing heard before Larry disappeared forever. A seismic roar echoed throughout Bikini Bottom. Squidward could have sweared he could hear the cheers of hundreds of sea stars. Every single one chanting one line. "ALL HAIL THE TORTURED ONE." Squidward could only stare at the beast towering over him. This had to be a nightmare. "*Finally.*" Boomed the beast. "*The time has come, a new era dawns upon this land*. *We will have our justice , our retribution*..." "YOU DON'T WANT ANY OF THAT AND YOU KNOW IT!" Screamed Squidward. The Tortured One glared at Squidward. "Don't you understand cephalopod? "Why must you stand against me? They made me suffer. They must be punished." Boomed The Tortured One. "They had no idea. They don't deserve any of this. What would Bikini Bottom think, What would Sandy think, What would Spongebob..." "SPONGEBOB IS GONE!" Roared The Tortured One. Squidward stepped back. The words pierced through all three of his hearts. He looked down and shut his eyes tight. A series of memories flooded back to him. From the pizza delivery, to the night-shift even the time he dressed up as Santa Claus. All because of Spongebob. Sure his coworkers optimissim and loud nature annoyed him but did that mean he ever truly hated him? No, some of the most joyous memories came from that sponge. He wasn't going to let that joy die. The two just stood. Silent. A titan of animus nature. And an unlikely hero standing against all odds. It was if the ocean had stopped just to watch this confrontation. Finally The Tortured One spoke. "*What is it that drives you Tentacles*?" The Tortured One enquired. "*What is it that makes all of this worth fighting for.*" Squidward could only smirk. "As if I could stoop down to the likes of you. If this is my last performance, then I'm going to give Bikini Bottom an encore it will never forget." The Tortured One just chuckled. "*Very well , I'm going to savour your demise.*" A thunderous growl emitted from deep within the confines of The Tortured Ones' psychedelic stomach. The faintest of smiles crept up from the sides of its gaping mouth. Squidward took up a defensive stance as The Tortured One reared itself up. "*Brothers , let us feast , tonight's special ... This was sort of a practice as well as an idea that flew into my overly imaginative head as I was listening to this masterpiece of a song. Seriously it just kept swimming like a fish in a bowl and wouldn't leave until I got it down. Also if The Tortured One's quotes aren't bold then just pretend that they are. I'm still not sure how to get it to work since I don't comment much. So please tell me what you think.
